Guys, you have to know as well that there’s a 10% deduction in your whole salary every cut off not unless you file for your taxes which is really a hassle to do given the requirements and waiting in line

Thank you teach! I personally open classes during morning and night time. Morning because students usually study English before going to school or work (like part of their morning routine) and at night because they just came back from work/school. Usually these hours are around 4 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 10 pm, Filipino time :>

For the first step of application, it usually takes a week before they confirm if you passed or not. They might send you an email saying that there are many applications at the moment. Disregard this email because it doesn’t mean you failed.

Hi Awebriii, I have learned many things on this vlog, actually I haven't heard of Engoo before but I have started looking for apart time job and I have few questions if you can shed light 1) is there an age limit? 2) how are you being paid - is it in peso? 3) business attire or business casual 4) How much do we need to pay to subscribe to Krisp I have 6 dogs at home and lastly 5) I have a full time job and can get online only around 5pm onwards will it suffice? hope you can read my questions. 1. No age limit! Applicants must be at least 18 years old
2. Gcash twice a month in peso
3. I would suggest wearing a top with a collar with a blazer during tje application process. But during the lesson itself, I just wear tshirts HAHA
4. Krisp app premium is free for a month using the link in the description. With the price, better to coordinate with Krisp directly!
5. Engoo does not have a required number of hours for their tutors. You'll really when you want to.

Hi! Is it safe to submit my current college ID to my application? Or would it be safer if I will use my Philhealth ID or Passport (expired)? Interested applicant here.
I think either IDs would work! They'll just check your identity and your birthday (to confirm you're not below 18yo)

I have been an ESL teacher for koreans, Vietnamese and Japanese. I am working for 3 different esl companies. Last year, I applied in Engoo (2 attempts). Unfortunately, I didn't pass. Haha That's why I am really challenged to reapply. Sana makapasa na. I like the flexibility of this company.

Hi! In my case, I'm always fully booked any time of the day. However, it's not the same with all tutors. I suggest opening your slots during peak hours like in the morning and at night to make sure that you'll be fully booked :>

With the BIR forms, I filled out mine when I went to BIR mismo so that I can ask them for guidance. Back then, they only asked me to fill out my personal information so I'm not sure what they checked in that part. I would suggest that you ask them directly before filling out your form!!

Is it possible po ba na pwede akong magturo ngayon but once na nasa abroad na po ako pwede magstop sa engoo magturo for like 5 years? then kapag nakauwi na ako ng pilipinas makakapagturo pa rin po ba ako? Teach pwede ka pa rin mag turo kahit nasa abroad ka. Basta pag nag apply ka nasa Pilipinas ka kasi need ng TIN niyo. Basta ang reason ni engoo, need nasa bansa pag magaapply para sa mga obligations natin sa BIR. Alam ko may engoo tutor din ngayon na Pilipino na nasa ibang bansa

Hi! If you will not pass your COR and SD within 30 days of account activation, you will have a 10% deduction from your salary. It's okay to not pass them po but there will be a deduction.

Yes yes! I usually open during mornings and at night around dinner time. These moments are usually when students look for tutors because they're either preparing for work or school or they just got back home!

Hii, I am confused with the bir po since there was no orientation about how I need to process things after getting the COR. i just want to ask if meron bang kelangan e pass sa bir everymonth or mga kelangan bayaran po? I hope you notice this po..
Hello po! After passing the COR to Engoo, we need to attend yung seminars po sa BIR about tax because, since we're freelancers, tayo po mag aasikaso ng tax natin. Wala naman po tayong babayaran pero may mga need lang po ifill up na forms every quarter. Ieexplain po siya sa seminars sa BIR or you can ask BIR po mismo directly.
Ang pinaka babayaran lang po is 500 pesos yearly for the registration fee. Ito po yung 500 na inabot natin nun sa COR since ito yung certificate of Registration.

Hello! Since most of our students are Japanese, their activities will have an impact to our bookings. Example: currently, Japanese students are having their midterms exams which means that they have to review first for this. English lessons in Engoo will not be their priority. There will be times that some tutors will not be fully booked because of this. However, tutors can still rely on other nationalities as their students. Just experiment to know when's the best time to open slots :>

Hi! The links are in the comment and description box :> For the journal and ledger, it can be bought in school supplies shops. For the Gcash, you can transfer it to your other bank accounts then withdraw it using your card or you can request for a GCash card, either works naman!

Hi! I'm not so sure with what you mean pero maybe you're talking about incentives? Engoo gives incentives to tutors who had at least 100 classes in one cut-off (P500) and another one if they have no cancelled classes (P500). So, in a month, you can get up to 2k worth of incentives :>

Hi teach! Once you've submitted your application, it might take engoo some time processing it because of the surge of applicants. But, don't re-apply because you've already submitted your application. Just wait for Engoo's email because they'll most probably get back to you after a week. Good luck!
May student ba na mag bobook during day time? Cuz as far as I know most of the esl company ang peakhours nila is night time, even if u open slot during daytime wala masyado ngbobook.

Kapag po ba hindi pa pinapasa ang TIN, hindi pa ma-aactivate ang account? It's been a week na po simula nung nagpasa ako ng photos for profile requirements and wala pa rin po akong balita sa activation ng account ko hehe. Normal po bang inaabot ng week bago ma-activate? Or di pa po talaga ia-activate kapag walang TIN ID?
Kapag po may TIN ID na, okay lang po na to follow yung COR at SD? Btw student pa lang rin po kasi ako kaya nahihirapan po ako sa sched ko pag-aasikaso ng papers at wala pa po akong schedule ng vaccination kaya di rin ako makalabas huhu.

I'm not sure with that po. Engoo allows tutors to work in other companies (for example, my sister works in a coffee shop). But I'm not sure if it's okay for other esl companies. You can ask them directly in their email Recruitment@engoo.com

Hiii! So in a month, I was able to earn around 30k. We'll receive our salary twice a month and I received around 14 to 15k in one cutoff.

Will they deduct the tax from your salary po? Paano nyo po ma withdraw in cash yung sahod nyo?
Hi!!! So Engoo will not deduct anything if you're able to pass the papers needed (Certificate of Registration from BIR and a Notarized Sworn Declaration (SD) from Engoo). They will give you 30 days to comply once you're already accepted from the demo lesson. If you're not able to pass the said papers on time, Engoo will indeed deduct taxes from your payment pero ibabalik din nila yun sa next payday mo once nakapag pasa ka na.
With the salary, they send it every 15th and 30th of the month thru gcash!!!

Hello! You only have to obtain your TIN and other documents once you've passed everything and you're hired. You have to pass your demo first. Once hired, Engoo will ask for your TIN (free via BIR)
