@@Awebriii hello po, my school ID was back in senior high school 2019 pa and it doesn't show my age or birthdate, how can I apply with this po? should I just capture my ID along with my birth certificate? I really want to work in Engoo but my postal ID hasn't arrived yet. Thank you.
FYI po. When you send them your COR that doesn't mean that you're exempted na po to pay tax. They stop deducting tax when you pass your COR kasi it is your responsibility to pay on your own. Kaya po kayo may ledger and journal kasi you have to record your salary and you are also required to issue an OR. Annualy you have to pay for registration (January). Monthly you have to pay your percentage tax, you need to file your Income Tax Return, and everything po na ginagawa ng regular tax payer. You are giving your service so it is like having your own business. So be aware of this po because it might end up pa sa tax evasion and paying a lot of penalties.
You can file for CTE naman sa BIR if you are earning not more than 250K annualy or below minimum wage.
So if you pay taxes on your own because you passed the COR, is it the same amount that you have to pay if you were not to submit the COR? I'm really confused on taxes, like why do I not know this

Hello, Ms. Bianca! If ever hindi ako nagsubmit ng COR and SD within 30 days, yung 10% deduction ba sa salary ko yun na yung sa tax? or may kailangan pa akong bayaran sa BIR separate pa doon sa 10% na kinaltas na. Hope you can notice this, very confused newbie po kasi 😅
The BIR part is messing with my head so I'll take your word for it and just head to the nearest RDO. Wish me luck lmao. Every damn time I'm trying to acquire any government document I always manage to either forget something or lack requirement and go home not accomplishing anything, so yeah I guess I'll just make do with what I have and do what I can and endure the inevitable back and forth travel. (Nearest RDO isn't as near as it sounds like either)
These government shenanigans isn't helping at all when restrictions are still up.

Yah i can relate to this. I've had the same experience that's why I mentioned in the video to ask first. When I processed mine, I just had a valid id (school id), a ledger and journal and filled up the form in the BIR branch itself. I hope this helps!

About the SD and COR, the company will give you 30 days after your account activation to comply. Since we receive our salary twice a month, there may be an instance wherein you'll be deducted since you haven't passed the documents. But once you passed them (ofc within 30 days still) engoo will refund your taxes. So you get them all back!
thank you for the informative video ♡ additional concern, what if in my case i do not have any valid id. i am not enrolled since 2020 so my school id would be void to use (i guess). can i still apply and if i can what would be an alternative to use as a valid id?
Any school IDs can be used! Any school year is accepted :>

For the BIR form, I filled out mine sa mismon BIR na eh para they could guide me since hindi rin ako maalam sa terminologies na yan. Pina fill up lang sakin yung basic info ko then tinanong lang kung anong work ko and I said self-employed online english tutor and sila na bahala. I suggest na you also fill that out na lang sa BIR na mismo para sila na rin bahaa dyan 💙
@@Awebriii hello po, wala po ba kayong binayaran na kahit ano kahit na self employed po kayo? kasi po may nababasa akong annual registration which is 500 pesos po if you are applying for a TIN for self employed.

Hi! Yes, Filipino tutors will receive salary thru Gcash. I've never heard of the peso limit before tho. Before, I earned more that 8k in one cut off and I did not receive any deduction :>

Hi! Required pong ipasa yung TIN. Pero nasa sainyo po kung gusto niyong magpasa ng COR. If hindi po kayo magpapasa, wala na po kayong iintindihin sa BIR pero may 10% tax po kayo every salary. So up to you po!

hi teach, you can still work in Engoo even if nasa abroad ka..it doesnt have to be daily nmn kasi wala silang minimum hours..just make sure to have atleast 1 class within 90 days to keep your acct active

Hi! once pde na makapag teach, may required number of hours po ba per week?
None po! Engoo offers flexible working hours. Engoo only encourages us to work at least two sessions a week per walang kaso if we cannot do it. Remember lang po na our account will be deactivated once we did not teach in 3 months na.

Hello! Pwede siyang mabayaran via gcash. Although I suggest wag ka na mag COR. Before kasi, 10% yung kaltas sa mga walang COR. Recently, 2% na lang yung kaltas so I closed my COR na for less hassle. I suggest talaga wag na mag COR and have the 2% kaltas na lang in exchange for peace of mind.

@@scarasmooches i am not sure about this since student pa lang ako pero since TIN lang naman talaga hinihingi ni Engoo, hindi na ako nagpass ng COR ko. May kaltas lang from engoo. Marami naman pong tutors na hindi na rin nag COR pero wala namang problem sa BIR

Hi! Kapag hired na po kayo, saka lang po hihingin ni Engoo yung TIN niyo. For the application, you can use your TIN ID as a valid ID.

Hello! Engoo accepts applicants from all over the world! However, if you are a Filipino working abroad, Engoo will not accept you since you won't be able to accomplish the tax documents (BIR) here in the Philippines
Ask ko lang po if valid po if nagpa online assistance po po ako ng TIN. I mean, dipo sa mismong BIR ko kinuhw ung TIN ko online assistance po then ibinigay nalang yung TIN sakin. Is it valid po?
Not sure po. Pero aside from TIN, hindi na po required yung ibang documents from BIR like COR and SD. Good luck po

I'm also a student mna newbie sa Engoo and I've been very confused with the whole BIR thing po, what type of document did you fill out po when you went to BIR? kasi I went to our local BIR branch and they always give me form 1902 but required don na ifillout ng employer yung other infos. In Engoos website naman I can pass form 1902 but I have to enter a TIN number agad even though I don't have one yet. I really don't know what to do at this point na po :((
Hello! Apologies sa late reply. Kahit wag mo na asikasuhin yung sa BIR. Ang important lang ay yung TIN natin. Before kasi, 10% ang kaltas ng mga walang papers sa BIR. Ngayon kasi 2% na lang. I suggest wag na talaga ilakad yung BIR kasi mas convenient talaga and less sakit sa ulo

Hello! The COR and SD are needed lang once you’re hired na. Also, optional siya. If you don’t want na may kaltas, push mo siya ilakad. Pero since mej hassle siya, oks lang na wala pero every sahod may 10% kaltas bc of tax. Good luck!

Hello! The document for the SD is found sa mismong site ni Engoo. They'll give that to you once you passed the demo lesson na.
You will have it notarized sa any notary public. Usually meron mga ganito malapit sa mga BIR. Meron din sa mga city hall.

Hi! I'm not really sure about this kasi I submitted my school ID lang at that time. They will email you naman if they want to see other IDs if hindi pwede yan. Pero just to be sure, I suggest emailing them na lang din

Hi! You only need to pass your TIN once you're already accepted as a tutor in Engoo. Also, don't worry about your TIN because it's really easy to get from BIR and you don't have to pay for anything!!

May problem po kasi aq regarding sa internet connection kasi wala po kaming wifi. I only use mobile data. Meron po bang paraan na pwede aq makapag apply sa Engoo na hindi nagpapakabit ng wifi?

Hi! There are two questions for the first step. The first one po is usually random lang like "Do you like dogs?" or "Do you like to buy or adopt pets?" then the second question is more like idioms such as "What does 'It takes two to tango' mean?"
