    THANK GOD for your review on this! This show has been written for those who already have an idea of the historical story line (which I do not -at all)! They really could’ve had an entire season of character building. There’s too many “Sir something or other” and it moves so fast with similar wardrobes so I’m getting everyone mixed up. I hope you’ve done every episode because I’ll be right here watching your reviews since I’m only really grasping the surface from the show. Thanks lovelies! ❤

      Season 2 is already out?
      I saw season one, wasn't that impressed because the 2 main vampires don't have any sexual chemistry between them.

    Sometimes they remind me of me and my ex because of how Nick will be like it reminds me of a Bette Davis picture, which would be me, and then Joseph is like my ex being just like okay yeah whatever

    I want us to just make sure if we would think it was perverted if it was a girl that was given to the king because the only thing that makes this “different” is that the “sacrifice” is a dude.

    People in the comment section complaining that all the actors aren’t white. First, they don’t seem capable of looking anything up. There were black people in Tudor England. Over 200. Second, so what?

    George bisexual in the show... So his feelings for Jenny are VERY real. But yeah, you are right that in the first episode he is a bit in denial about his feelings towards men. And pretty much everyone figured out before he did that he has these feelings.

      Why is that funny?
      Because he was gay he can’t translate a Bible?
      And King James wasn’t the first. William Tyndale translated the Bible into English, King James enhanced it

    I wonder why this actor is always playing gay/bi sexual character's in movies; I can think of at least 4 movies in which he's played a gay character.

    • @AnxietyRat
      @AnxietyRat Před 16 dny

      He's a REALLY big ally for the community. He is mentioned in interviews that he has quite a few gay friends and so that's why he's totally comfortable playing these types of roles... And portrays them very respectfully, even though he is straight.

  • @damonx6109

    I've watched the whole series. For some reason they make every single character gay. Even Julianne Moore's character. They also use black actors to play white Scottish and English people which doesn't make sense.

    • @macebluemoon369
      @macebluemoon369 Před měsícem +1

      Even as a person in the LGBT community I find the obsession with making everyone in history gay overkill and obviously not accurate. Also it is strange to have black people play white characters. If Julianne Moore played Harriet Tubman in a movie it would be jarring, offensive, and not make sense. The same would be true if a black or Asian man played King Henry or King James. It would not make sense and definitely be historically inaccurate.

      I love it when people get mad when everyone’s not white 😂
      Honey, Queen Elizabeth I complained that there were too many black people in the UK in the 1500’s. I quote “Evidence has been found of more than two hundred people of African origin or descent living in Britain during the Tudor period (1485-1603)” future learn. Read

      You’re just uneducated. There were black people in Tudor and Jacobean England. Over 200, and some were members of the court.

      @@macebluemoon369Harriet Tubman was black though. There really were black people in England at the time. You won’t believe me, but you can search black people in Tudor England.
