- Three years plus of growing my hair out again, and now finally being able to cut everything off in one go and donating the bunch.
--- Why did you choose to donate your hair?
I can indirectly make someone else happy, and get to enjoy a new hairdo at the same time. It's a win-win situation. It's always a scary thing to 'let go' of something that's been with you for such a long time and the moment so much length gets cut off. Think about it like this: you'll be finished with combing/brushing/styling and so on much faster.
--- The salon looks cool. Which one did you visit?
I went to my new favourite hairdresser in town: Kronsohn in Friedrichshain, very close to the Frankfurter Tor. He's very professional, knows exactly what he's doing and was so kind to help me out a lot. Can highly recommend! / kronsohn-214509119286879
The previous time in donated my hair to Stichting Haarwensen: haarwensen.nl/.
This time I am donating to Rieswick & Partner GmbH, website www.haare-spenden.de/.
Alternative would for example be Rapunzel www.bvz-rapunzel.de/.
What are the typical requirements for donating your hair?
- Hair must be at least 25-30 cm long (this differs per organisation, but the rule is, the longer, the better). Some centimeters will always get lost in the process of manufacturing wigs.
- Cleaned, dry hairs.
- Not coloured or damaged by extensive e.g. hair blowdrying
- Tied together at one point. Longer hair pieces may be tied together multiple times.
As stated, requirements may slightly differ between organisations. Always explicitly check what they are!

Where did you get the idea to do a bucket list?
- Michelle Poler with her 100 Days Without Fears project, whom I discovered when she went viral at the time.
Why do you want to do a bucket list now?
- If not now, then when?? I had this list for more than two years, and kept making excuses as to why now was not the right time to start. So I just started. Because I want to live a little and enjoy life too.
That's cool, I want to do a bucket list! What shall I put on mine?
- I don't know, that is very personal and entirely up to you! Don't just copy what others before you did, but think about what YOU would like to do, however dumb or random it might be. It's your life after all.

Hair looks hot, pretty and I bet much cooler than before. Hope you tossed all your scrunchies and ponytail holders out now that its short. You should try donating your shoes in the video to women in need.
Ahh that's sweet, thank you! After years of long hair I prefer this as well, it's much more practical and saves me tons of time in the bathroom because, well, maintenance. Oh those shoes I wear, so I'm keeping them, haha. I do sort out my wardrobe once per year and donate a batch :) Hope you have a good weekend!

Quite a big change right! The first few days I kept trying to brush it all the way down to my back, only to realise nothing was there haha. I can recommend, only if just for the sake of trying out different hairstyles :)
