    I had a P1752 code and my transmission was stuck in top gear, took it apart expecting a broken circuit but it seemed fine. Replaced the solenoid and it runs again. Testing the old I/C solenoid and it was shot.

      This is the comment I needed to see. I had a p1752 on my 06 g35 and it was for the i/c solenoid. I just recently replaced all solenoids and so far so good 🤞🏻 I didn't take it apart to see any circuit board breaks but I'm hoping it was only the solenoid

    Thanks for illustrating this. I had my Nissan pathfinder 2005 fixed for this problem twice already (by the way it is a costly fix in my area...). I wonder what can be causing this issue? I've notice combustions gasses make it into the radiator overflow reservoir (I know it because of the high pressure and bubbling every time I open the reservoir's lid with engine cold ). Are this two issues related? Do you know where I can order a new circuit board from?

    • @thisisyourtransmission
      @thisisyourtransmission  Před rokem

      You can order it from the nissan dealership. However, I am not sure if you would have to have it programmed. One, thing that we do is eliminate the radiator from the transmission completely. Then we install an aftermarket haden transmission cooler and run the transmission lines directly to it. This transmission is known for having mixing of engine coolant and transmission fluid, which destroys the transmission.

    Hey I have a quick question. My mom was driving my 05' Xterra and she said when she was heading somewhere, the car started to slip or not accelerate as well then jolted and speed up quickly. When she got home, I saw the check engine soon light pop up. I took it to Autozone and O'reillys for the free check engine diagnosis, and I got the code P1754 (input clutch solenoid valve). I talked to two different mechanics. the first mechanic said "there's water in the transmission". Said that both transmission and radiator need to get replace. the second mechanic said that the car just needs service "codes sometimes bullshits people to waste money'' and needs a new radiator with a flush. I hoping for third opinion and see what you think? the car runs okay but I'm just going to let it sit for now.
    side note: I went to check on the coolant reservoir and the liquid was dark but it was also creamy.

    • @thisisyourtransmission
      @thisisyourtransmission  Před 3 lety

      If there is water in the transmission, it came from the radiator. It is best to run a stand along transmission cooler. Normally if there is water in the transmission, then you will need to change the whole transmission. You will probably never get all the water out of the transmission.

    I have a 2007 Xterra 4WD. It’s throwing solenoid codes and oddly enough a starter code (P0850, P0615, P1843 and P1772). About 3 months ago, I was thrown into limp mode and was told SMOD but it only acted that way once. The ignition thing has me stumped as I have never had a problem starting it. And now with a recent code reader, 1843 is no longer showing up The car is running fine now except I have no cruise control. The cruise light will pop on but it will never engage. The SES light is on and I had someone put a code reader on it and got those. It was also throwing Any idea what’s going on because I have nothing especially since the car has acted correct for 3 months.

    • @thisisyourtransmission
      @thisisyourtransmission  Před rokem

      If that part in the computer was actually broken, and you claimed that you fixed it, then I would assume that you did not do something correctly when attempting to fix it. It is unlikely that there would be a problem with the solenoid or anything else that would throw that code, if the conductor plate was broken. You should probably go over your work. However, first clear the codes out of the transmission.

      Its slipping bad. I drained the fluid and it looked like rust water. But the solenoids were stuck in the valve body. I've had to take them out before to repair the valve body circuit board it wouldn't shift out of 4th.
      After that it ran good for about 3 months. Now I think the radiator is leaking into the transmission cooler.
