This is nit-picking to the extreme. You complain about the new helmets on MK VI because of lore reasons? I get comparing them to the current ones, but those ones can’t even make a minimum command squad and this gives you options for a 5 man command squad, a Herald, and a good Veteran Squad with a bit kit bashing, and if you magnetize it right ALL OF THE ABOVE! Let’s not forget as well that because of the 2 banners you can save one to give it to a terminator command squad
I think that they showed off the decal sheet in the warcomm article from when the mk6 assault marines were announced. I at least think that its the same decal sheet, they never mentioned it again after that article.
I definetly agree on the helmets not fiting mkVI. also some torsoes would be cool. i dont think the picture showes all the bits, you see only one sword for example, i hope there will be 5 guns as well. Im guessing they will only release it as an upgrade sprue without the bodies, just like the special weapons.

Quite literally in the MK2, MK4, and Phobos weapons kits. -"What if I don't want to give my squad combat shields?" Then buy some Assault Squads and use their bolt pistols. Or literally any other special weapon. You have options elsewhere. -"But muh white scars! Muh Blood Angels!" Well shit Timmy sorry the generic command set can't quite cover all 18 Legions perfectly. But you know, I'm sure some of those Terran-born WS will be just fine using a generic power sword, and we already know Blood Angels use power swords. -"If I was playing Blood angels, would I buy this? No I'd buy Sanguinary Guard!" Okay but would I buy Sanguinary Guard if I were playing Death Guard? Or Raven Guard? Or World Eaters? Or literally any other Legion? No, so why bring that up? It's an upgrade sprue, and yet you keep saying "But what if I don't want-" and the simple answer is "fucking don't then". I feel like I'm listening to a 7 year old. On the note of power fists and plasma pistols, you do get those with each tac squad set. You get a sprue of them with each 5 man version of the kit, too. So it's a complete non-issue in my book.
@@odinlindeberg4624also the next kit to be released in plastic for HH marines are upgrade kit of melee weapons… so also that is resolved, btw from what I have seen it is a fantastic kit with lots of potential, heck I could use it to spice up my 40K marines too 😊
I’m fine with low-effort drops as long as it keeps the price down. I assume that won’t be the case, but I’d be pretty happy if the upgrade kit could be bought for less than those newer 40K Templars and DA sets.
You do realise you are already getting a ton of melee weapons, pistols etc in the other kits, right? You should already have loads of spare weapons. This kit is giving you some new stuff.

3d printing is the way to go. 3d printing are literally years ahead of gw. Ive been printing heads, helmets, weapons and all kinds of bits to alter my armies for several years now
Yeah, I use a lot of 3D printing for myself and supply stuff to others, but I know not everyone has access to 3D printing. My few videos showing my own work has a healthy mix of 3D printing, Plastics, Resin, and Third Party bits.
