- Eastfield is the closest town to the coast we've visited so far - any nearer and we'd actually be able to see the sea! Maybe some day...
I'm cycling to every large town near me in order of ascending distance, and rating them - with the end goal of reaching Flamborough. This is York Review!

Lush green areas….now built on, houses are popping up all over Eastfield. You mentioned pubs, one The Stronghold (where One Stop now stands) was demolished overnight, I’ve never seen a building disappear so quickly. The main pub The Eastfield was taken over by Proudfoots Supermarket and is now a supermarket, the nearest pub is The Poachers Barn just outside Eastfield in walking distance. I used to live in Eastfield on the High Street and remember them building The Dell Walk. Although I live in Scarborough now I do miss Eastfield.

You're a real ray of sunshine in these dark times. ❤️ Also, I want to know, what was sticking out of your back pockets in a lot of these shots?
Haha thanks! It was a dismantled gazebo leg with an elastic band wrapped round the top. I attached the helmet cam to it for my "drone shots" 😂
@@StatusMirror hahahahaha of course it was 😂😂😂
I agree wholeheartedly with your mark today for Eastfield. Of course, its existence begs the question, where is Westfield, Southfield, and Northfield.
I passed a Westfield on the way in! It was a tiny plot of land with no buildings on it, and it was quite far from Eastfield... but maybe?
