  • In this review of the HP ZBook Studio G4 mobile workstation by Joe Herman, we take a look at one of the most powerful machines available in a super small and super light form factor.
    Perfect for artists, animators, video editors, VFX artists, photographers and filmmakers, you really have to see this machine to believe it. The 4K UHD DreamColor disply makes it even better.
    A great laptop to run programs like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, CINEMA 4D, Maya, Resolve and many more!

    I still wonder how long the battery life is when browsing websites. It's very hard to find. It seems that no reviews had tested the laptop from this aspect.

      Thank you! And thanks for pointing out that clock speed thing. I'm glad you liked it. I am thinking that the background music is a bit loud. What do you think?

    is everything soldered on, or is it possible to upgrade hardware..?

      Workstations are pricey because they’re upgradeable and they’re designed for corporate IT departments to easily service.

      No, that is not going to happen. GTX are consumer cards and teh quadro's are pro. Yes the titam is also very capable in rendering tasks etc. I would like to see these laptops with the new AMD CPU's. I have the normal 15" G3 and it does not fail. I use it as a IT professional and i really love the keyboard and just everything about the laptop. Sturdy, fast, it can handle all that I toss to it.

    Quite dissapointed in this machine coming from a Mac. The driver of my bluetooth randomly dissapeared, the driver of the speakers is also broken and HP hasn’t given users a fix yet. The driver is also not your average driver you can find online, so the speakers crackle. It sometimes randomly force restarts while you’re in the middle of something. At this price point the basics should be working without any compromises, yes the hardware is really good on paper, but it looks like they cut some corners getting this device to market. Do not recommend this device.

      Cash Bonanza Good question. I'd get this instead personally.

      Because it runs macOS, which is lightyears ahead of any windows machine

      Eyal Horev tell me something you can do with OSX that you can't do with Windows? But I'll tell you so many things (pro things especially) that you can do with Windows but not with OSX

    • @eyalhorev3276
      @eyalhorev3276 Před 6 lety +2

      Windows machines are less dependables. they have issues, and they must be taken care of continously in order to run smoothly (and they seldom are) Apple machines just work. and work. the advantage of software and hardware integration proves itself everytime.

    • @cashbonanza963
      @cashbonanza963 Před 6 lety +2

      Eyal Horev well, i got a PC and I have none of those issues. I set it up once and everything gets updated by itself. No problem at all. Besides there's far more support for PCs than Macs. Not to mention the millions of apps available for Windows to suit every single need, which you don't find on the Mac platform due to Apple's restrictions. There's also planned obsolescence on the Mac side and so on and so forth... Take that from an ex Mac fanboy.
