i just wanna tell you that these wormwood videos are a huge comfort series to me. they're so relaxing, 10/10 videos to fall asleep to

You can't overheat in the caves in DST, I think you could in solo temperature is a bit weird. So you are good to wear the tam, which also couldnt cause you to overheat since it doesnt provide heat, just makes it take longer to lose temperature.
Also what a wonderful base location choice lol
If you want to search something mid game you can just pause also : P
Oh also, fighting Bearger is a lot like Deerclops, he isn't so bad. Every third attack he goes in for the run and ground pound. Unless he's running, or he swipes, anything he knocks over like trees doesn't actually give resources. However, he is still the best lumberjack in the game and using him for tree chopping is amazing!
12:45 wormwoods health can't be effected by food so he can't heal with it but he also can't be hurt by it.
also you can use the orange gem to make the lazy explorer thats actually useful in solo
1. Make a public server and build a base.
2. Build several mushroom planters and fill them with red mushrooms. Eat only mushrooms. Fill your fridge with mushrooms.
3. Answer to all "where base" questions.
4. Watch them suffer.

resource plants only require time and moderate temps to grow but food and sanity plants need light(a staff does indeed work but yeah you need at least half a tile of distance from things that can light on fire) the only exception is mushrooms that have a water requirement; i've done several lightsout games and it is quite clever how much klei thought about surviving in the dark
Fun fact! The big tentacles in the caves are internally called "octopus_guarden"

Just so you know, the blue mushroom forest is always connected to the mud biome that is connected to the ruins. By "opposite" i think they meant the opposite direction to where the ruins entrance points
Rotting plants will eventually regrow if you dont harvest them, so if you see a rotting plant you dont need to harvest it for rot

Dude. I have 1.7k hours in this game and I have NEVER heard hutch’s last name until you said it and I looked it up (it is in fact danglefish). Also, the fact that you figured out that gunpowder can be used on stone fruit by yourself is nothing short of genius. Next time you tell yourself you aren’t good at the game, or when you get killed by a weaker enemy, remember that you are a DST GURU! Also, you’re my favorite DST CZcamsr. You should be a Klei ambassador (if you aren’t already). You freakin’ rock!

Funny how you mentioned making a series where you live in the caves, I've actually got a world of my own with the same premise! I ended up turning off depths worm invasions because I wasn't able to figure out how to fight them off, but it's quite fun down there. I've ended up amassing a massive stockpile of red and blue gems just from earthquakes alone :D
Thank you for doing a Wormwood series! I've just started to play him and it was a kick to see you organically unlock his tree. I like to use bramble traps to supplement my damage versus seasonal and raid bosses. Even a small but tight 4x4 grid will melt most things. I haven't beaten Celestial Champion yet so I can't say I know how well his summons or brightshade buffs are. I usually main more combat oriented characters so I regularly rush the ruins but I can NEVER find the blue mushroom biome that leads to the lunar mushtree forest. Never. But maybe it's because what people mean by "opposite of the ruins" is really "adjacent to the ruins". 🙃
these videos are slowly becoming a 24/7 zest fest and im here for it

why are you growing RED mushrooms
Eating the raw is the only mushroom that doesnt drop sanity, so probably just for that. And cooked green are an upgrade to cooked blue, so blue doesn't really do anything for Mr Wood.

@@BiddoBamss tbh I don't really know. It says something about corrupt save data or something like that. At first I thought it was because of the mods I installed, but when I load my other world with the same exact mods, everything is ok. So I give up, and just let go:')

After tried for like 3 days, I just gave up and delete the world so I can really let it go🥲 However, I create a new world that kinda perfect, it got everything I want and now I'm actually in a good mood and excited to build a new mega base😂
