FLYING AROUND THE ALGARVE IN C42 G-CISG

Headed off to Portugal on my brothers stag do with one thing on my mind!
Where can I hire a plane and go flying ???
I contacted Malcom at fly365 a month in advance, booked a slot, hired a car and headed for Lagos as soon as we landed in Portugal.
I didn't hold a class 2 medical so I couldn't fly solo in Europe, "no prob you can fly with one of my instructors at no extra cost".
I was paired with Zeth who was fantastic, I would advise an hour or 2 with an instructor for a few circuits to get the lay of the land, even if u hold a medical. 30 has a tricky enough approach.
3 circuits under the guidance of Zeth and we were off to Albufeira to look for the stag party, Zeth took care of ATC/radio calls and I done the flying.
An amazing experience in all, I hope to be back for a family holiday soon and squeeze a sneaky few hours flying in too.

Roughly the same as you pay at home with an instructor. It was a great experience.
