Thank you for watching ! - Zábava
I was on this flight . There was a burning smell which was caused by the air conditioning system so as a precaution the pilot put us and emergency services on notice . Luckily there was no fire and everything went smoothly . What I didn’t understand is why we were kept on the plane after landing a good while longer . Emergency services boarded the plane and checked it out before we were allowed off ! There may be an explanation why this was safer for us but I couldn’t work it out.
Thank you very much for your explanation about the incident!
Very glad that you landed safely and unharmed.
I think it's because if there is a fire or a threat of, the crews can get to the source quickly, without waiting for passengers to disembark. Otherwise, the passengers would be in their way, and, if there was a fire or an immenient one, it would spread whilst disembarkation happened.
Maybe because there was no immediate danger and passengers were safer inside the aircraft rather than milling around on the apron?
It's the captain's decision as to whether or not to evacuate the aircraft. Evacuation via the slides can cause minor injuries and there is a further risk of injury when passengers are moving away from the aircraft. In the Asiana accident in the US, two children who had left the aircraft by the slides were run over and killed by emergency vehicles in the chaos. You are actually safer on the plane unless there is an immediate risk to life, such as a fire inside the cabin.
No explanation required. You were being kept safe on a plane that just had to make an emergency landing. The captain etc know what they're doing, that's all you need to know.
Great reaction from the airport first responders. Even though nothing happened you need to be ready no matter what.
Agree with you kippamip , the first responders are always ready in full force 💪👍
You're not called "Airport Action" for nothing !
Pilots reported smoke in the cockpit apparently..
Thank you 🙏🏻 I saw it on flight radar yesterday and I’ve been dying to know what happened. Glad all was ok 😅
Nice and interesting video due protocol carried out, thanks nothing was wrong at proccedure.
The Captain and His F/O did it so well Congratulations.
Thank you , everyone involved as always doing a fantastic job 👍
When I saw smoke in my car a lot of years ago, I panic a bit. I imagine what people feel when it happens in an airplane (fire is the BIggest problem in an airplane, nowadays, in my opinion)
*Great Catch 🎥*
Thank you RLVIDEOS 👍
I saw this on flight radar yesterday and was really curious about what happened. Thank you for posting this. I’m glad everything is ok 😊
Thank you English Mermaid 👍
Fire appliances look dull, whats with the blue and white? Bright green or yelllow look so much better at an airport, even red. Theyve painted them like parcel delivey trucks 😂
Hope everything was ok
Hi Clare , everything was ok in the end i believe 🙏
Great capture!
I wonder if it was a medical emergency? Too many incidents lately, at other airports and liveries.
It was smoke in the cockpit
@@xpo4139Thank you very much for your reply.
Thankfully they landed safely, hopefully they will find the source of the culprit.
Airport Action always first on the scene! 👏👏👏
I love how whenever there is an aircraft emergency landing, the fire appliances always wait in a position, which means they have to chase the aircraft all the way down the runway! Why not have a couple also near where its expected to come to a stop so they can kick into action quicker? See the same thing at all airports. They lose valuable minutes.
They always assume the worst case scenario, e.g. an explosion after landing, the position behind the plane is the safest. The plane could also, depending on what is broken, go off the runway, even then the safest place is behind it.
You beat me to it , i was just about to type something similar 👍
Darnit something good always happens when I am not here!
I WAS HERE WHEN IT HAPPENED I WAS WAITING TO BOARD A FLIGHT TO CDG I GOT IT ON CAMERA
This was in fact a car comparison road test. Next week, we'll be testing a 'Nissan Micra' vs 777 to see who's fastest 😉
Oh wow what was up with the plane? I do hope all were ok
What happend?
Thank God for the government
I can see the problem, the blades are not turning fast enough.
I *think* it just appears that way on camera, I’m not sure though as they looked faster once it was on the ground. But you know ow when you film an indoor home fan, through the screen the fan appears to be going very slowly when it’s not.
@@EnglishMermaid1980 Its known as frame rate
@@EnglishMermaid1980 I was aware of that actually, its my attempt at a joke, sorry. I am an aircraft technician, and think it would of pretty much not made the runway if he had lost propulsion from both engines.
@@thewinkler6647 Jeez, it's true, the world really has lost it's sence of humour!!
@@stewartgriffiths5630 Meanwhile the world can spell ‘sense’ though.
"Chase me, chase me" 😂
Absolutely what i thought when i watched the clip!! 😂😂
They do that to confim nothing were dropped off from the emergency aircraft and the runway is clear and safe for other Landing aircrafts.
Not sure why the emergency vehicles went all the way down the runway and chased the ATC around.
I would have thought that they could have takan a more direct route to the plane considering where it taxi'd to?
Procedures are laid down.. (ex ATC)
@@rossmansell5877 Seems like it would be better for the plane to go to the services rather than the other way around
Does this happen with every 7700 squawk? Some are just a radio failure etc, right?
@@EnglishMermaid1980 Radio failure has a desperate squawk - 7600.
@@tristacker Why is 7600 ‘desperate’?
Surely the propellers aren't going around quickly enough?
FPS....
Camera created optical illusion. Similar is seen with helicopter rotor blades and open spoke road vehicle wheels.
It is the camera frame rate that creates the illusion of the props spinning slower than they actually are. 👍
Nothing really happened lol.... 😄
A smoked filled cockpit
@@AirportAction oh god. 😐 glad all went ok.
uno (first)
So?
I know what the problem was....he wanted all the cameras and attention on him as he buttered that landing. 🧈
