    Ask me how I learned that the A052 don't like too much pressure ?

      Ho did you learn that a052 doesn't like high pressure?) I'm planning to go with a052 as well later this year. What hot pressure works best for you?

      @@Kirtanus that moment in Bellof-S and then in Schwalbenschwanz. Grip broke out very quickly (unexpectedly). They were at 2.5 bar warm. I would now always run them at 2.1 bar warm.

    you delay braking, sometimes you manage to bring the braking almost inside the curve. In my humble opinion it is the right technique because the GR rotates better leaning on the front. So you get very close to whoever is in front. I don't think it's necessary to keep the left foot on the brake to give gas. This car has no lag and the turbo I understand is always ready. It's a pleasure to watch you. Ciao Top! 💪

    Hey Man love the videos, how do you manage rear differential cooling?

    • @GreatMotors
      @GreatMotors  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Hey! Thank you for your nice words! I have noticed a few things that has a positive impact on diff temperature management. 1) running less toe in in the rear helps (the less toe you have, the slower diff temps will rise). 2) the stickier the tires the quicker the diff temperature will rise. 3) I have a plastic 3D printed part that directs air into the diff, and I have wrapped my stock exhaust with thermal band. Both had a small impact in diff temp, but they compound.
      I have read, but didn't try myself, that running no engine floor helps. The problem is that the Toyota part flexes and creates a buldge. This messes up the airflow underneath the car and negatively impacts diff temps.
      I hope this info helps you :)

    How come you have the traction control doing it's job? Many turn it fully off on the track days...?

    • @GreatMotors

      As of late last year I have been driving with the "expert" mode of the TC. It's a very liniment mode. I don't feel it intervene, and I guess if shit really hits the fan it would still do something. The only time I feel it cut power is if I give it full beans while one of the wheels is in the air.

    • @AbsoluteNOPE
      @AbsoluteNOPE Před 9 měsíci

      @@GreatMotors It is a weird one, it's clearly doing something in the fast corners under acceleration but the car doesn't seem to move in any way. Out of Expert mode, do you feel anything to worry you with zero assistance from the TC? Not had mine flash more than twice in 2 years - as never on a track.

    No No and No , your using the wrong foot for braking ,use left foo braking on track its a lot safer especially if stopping from 110mph for a corner

    • @GreatMotors
      @GreatMotors  Před 9 měsíci +2

      How is it safer? Please explain it to me, I am genuinely curious.

      @@GreatMotors I do track days , look up my friend Daniel Harris of Dynodaze I drive a 1.5 Turbo Colt CZT around 160bhp fast enough for me but anyway with left foot braking it's safer as it decreases the time spent moving between brake and throttle pedals you can also control the lateral load easier in corners trust me my Colt handles like a transit van on track a lot of body roll in corners at 70mph but using left foot braking makes it easier to keep control you can also blip the throttle which helps too and it reduces turbo lag as you can hold the revs higher , hope my explanation makes sense

    • @GreatMotors
      @GreatMotors  Před 9 měsíci +3

      @@christineayres7199 I wonder how you left foot brake and blip the throttle at the same time to change gears.
      Yes you are correct that by left foot braking you reduce the time you spend between acceleration and going on the brake, and you will turn in faster lap times. For me and my fun, I feel plenty of brake authority with my right foot, allowing me enough control over the car. Could I be faster if I used my left foot for braking? Maybe. Does it bother me that I don't? Nop. Do I think it's less safe? Not at all.

    • @christineayres7199
      @christineayres7199 Před 9 měsíci

      @@GreatMotors But you know the part where you nearly lost control? Well with left foot braking that wouldn't have been as severe , anyway if your into serious racing and being a winner 🏆 on track you need to do left foot braking , heel and toe and also learn the most valuable lesson that I was taught in my amateur career , Never accelerate into a corner unless you know you can keep your foot flat on the accelerator , I literally watched a video of Sir Jackie Stewart in the class I attended and that was his lesson smooth driving is the key , you want to carry your speed through corners 👍😁🏆

      @@christineayres7199 NO, you don't NEED on track to do left foot braking. Why? because it is everyone's personality. I saw many good drivers using right foot. That guy is one of them, who don't need to use left foot. It is his style and personality, so you would be accept his decision in driving. You are acting like it's a fookin big deal to use right foot for braking.. I am one of guys who use left foot, because it's my style, my type of driving and something new, i wanna become a better driver by this technique, but please not be that guy who need to tell every guy that right foot on track is bad thing.
