I applied to renew my B1/B2 visa and being informed by the officer during the interview that my visa application is approved. However, after waiting for more than a week, I was surprised that there was an email sent by the embassy to fill in the DS-5535 form which I missed but eventually responded and submitted. Now it’s been 8 days since the form submission and not even received a confirmation email that my email was received.
The problem is that my employer paid for my Executive Leadership Training program at one of the well-known US universities and I have to start it on 24 July 2022. Hence, I’m not sure what to do and I do appreciate your kind advice on what shall I do.
The obvious thing to do is to wait or contact the embassy. 24th July is still 5 weeks away.

Even the best reasons get denied. The point is, I cannot determine for you what is a good reason or not. Own your truth and present your best case.

Not sure a ‘conference meeting’ qualifies for an emergency visa appointment. Opt for a virtual meeting instead.

Is your Aunt sponsoring your trip? If not, then you should build your financial record. If they are not convinced that you can afford your trip, your application will be denied.

@@maryannpascua4570 Then she should forward an invitation letter to you stating what she does and why she is sponsoring your trip; and that you will be her responsibility.
The success of your application will depend on you convincing the officer that you are not a flight-risk and have no intention to remain in the US after your visit, or violating the terms of the desired visa.
You may also need a reference from your current employer stating that they are aware of your trip and have given you time off. They should also speak of your good standing.

It is likely that they may not request for any documents from you, but have them with you just incase.
You would be assessed based on the information you already provided in your visa application form and your performance at the interview.
