Documents are seldom reviewed during interviews, so there are no ‘basic’ requirements. Include the relevant information in your online application form.

There are organizations that provide foreign degree evaluations. E.g WES. Find out which is accepted by your institution. Apply, then contact your alma mater to forward your academic records (transcript) to them.
Read the instructions you were originally given by the school you applied to. It usually has all the information you require to proceed.
Hello Oto, my wife dv lottery visa was refused and the reason given was that she failed to prove education or work but when she did just that she didn’t pass well in high school but yet she has credit management courses and she has worked with it for the past 12yrs. Can she appeal for this?
I’m not aware that you can appeal dv lottery visa denials. My focus here is tourism.
Please is it advisable to say you are traveling with maybe two other people in your ds-160 form because you had an invitation letter consisting of your name and the two other names and you have the same interview dates with them or you can just say you are traveling alone?
Are you travelling with them for the same purpose? If yes, there is your answer.

Hello, I was deny a family tourist visa b1 b2 in 2018 and I am going on business now next week for my. Although I have all the required documents to proof ties n funds travelling experience to 4 countries. But I have not refused Immigrant visa before travelling to 3 countries. I am only going for exhibition as an artist. What do you think I should focus on.
I do not understand your question. Is there anything else other than the purpose of your trip? I believe that is what you should focus on.

You are encouraged to complete a new application form if the last one you filled would be older than 6months at your interview date.

The B1/B2 is usually combined and issued as a single visa. Meaning you can use it for both.

Hello To, I like ur teachings...pls what about someone who filled company A as his sponsor in Ds-160 but has a bank statement of company B which happened to be a baby company to company A. There is an official letter from company A that B is truly their baby company and that their bank statement should be accepted. Can a visa be denied base on this?
You’re complicating a very simple process. Do the right thing.
Attach the supporting document for the sponsor on record.

You can find all the information you need on the US visa application portal.
No one abroad can process a b1/b2 visa for you. It has to be done in the country where you reside.

I own a foundation based in Nigeria that deals with alot of social issues we face. I was selected as one of six cohorts worldwide by Swarovski Foundation, an international organization. We are to attend UN General assembly in NewYork for a conference. The Int. foundation is sponsoring my trip that is hotel fees, travel tickets, and even Visa application costs.
1. My first question is, do I also to apply for a B1/B2 visa ?
And under finance, (if one has had some diplomatic travels, these companies first require you to pay your tickets and all. Then on arrival to your destination you provide payment receipts and they reimburse you all)
2. Under sponsoring of trip, do I put my name as who is sponsoring or the companies name (cause really its until i get to the destination i will get reimbursed)
Yes. Regarding the sponsorship, you should state it as it is - which is that the organization will sponsor the trip, however, you should be able to determine what that cost is.
It also looks good that you are able to finance the trip ahead of the event. If you have a document that confirms that you will be reimbursed, all good.

Hello oto my sister applied twice for a J2 visa as dependent to her husbands J1 and got rejected. How long do you think she should wait before applying again. My husband suggest she should apply for a B2 instead. What do you think.
There are no restrictions on when to apply. If she was rejected for a reason and that circumstance has not changed, she may be denied.

Good information Ms.oto,had my visa denied 1 year ago under b1/b2 visa category. The company I work was sending me for special training and when asked how I will be sustained I answered that the host company will be giving me a stipend and my invitation letter didn't have any US government stamps. Am in the process of restarting the applying process and one of the few errors have corrected is the invitation letter is notarized by the US government institution. Kindly advise what else I should do in my preparations?
Am also planning to tell them the truth that it was my first time going through the Us visa process and was nervous and my ineligibility of getting a stipend on the b1/b2 hence the company I work for Will take full charge of my expenses while in the US. At least that's what have prepared so far before going for my interviews

@@wakaranja2304 Did you not read the instructions when completing your application form? It is clearly stated that changes cannot be made after you have submitted your form.
If you must complete another form, then your appointment confirmation must be amended to point to the new DS160. It is still possible that they would keep record of the previous form you submitted.

Hello dear Oto, this has been so helpful. But my situation is abit complex because my mum applied for a visa first and was denied, then the second time we applied as a group of 2, but when the interview came I had just given birth, c-section, was unable to go since the place was quite far and the interview was pushed to this year in July. Now I am pregnant again 3 months now, my baby is 10 months. And I want to add him to our visa application and yet am pregnant.
The main security I have back home is my husband and unfinished education. My mom is a stay at home but my other 6 siblings are here too. My dad has got quite many visas to the USA. His visa got expired he’ll renew it on his own. We are definitely planning to just go visit my bro and his wife and then come back.
My son is really young and the only person I could live him with is my mom who also is going. My mom-in-law is quite busy. I really want to add my son on the application. My due date for delivery is October but my interview is in July.
What do you advise me. I’ll be so grateful if you help me on this one.?! Am in a dilemma.
