Thyssenkrupp Traction South Elevator at The Live Oak Bldg., DoubleTree Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC

Pretty nice but basic elevator that looks identical to most of the elevators here, especially the ones in the Central Portion of this building, however, just listen to the WEIRD and PRIMITIVE Buzz this thing has!!! LOL!!! It sounds almost like a Fujitec!!!! Other than that, nothing much else to say about this one. It's pretty fast, fairly smooth, gets the job done, and is very efficient for a single elevator system. It is physically a bit worn, but is overall in pretty good shape and by no means in poor shape, and note that this is typical for elevators in Myrtle Beach. That all being said, enjoy the video!
Installed: Circa 1980s (Northern with EPCO Fixtures)
Modernized: Circa Late 2000s or 2010-2011 (Thyssenkrupp with MAD BS Fixtures, New Motors, Controllers, Cabs, Lanterns, External Indicators, etc. Doors and Door Frames left as is.)

beautiful backcabin artwork and the blue fixture theme gives off a nice ocean touch. I also like the unique floor passing chime. nice touch there too :) nice find frirnd.
