    Theres a lot of fucked up and weird shit in the German system, they tried to make a good system but theres so many flaws. When my father came to Germany (like 30ish years ago), he wasnt allowed to work. Like for 2(maybe it was even 4 Im really not sure) he wasnt allowed to do pretty much anything. Combimed with that, he had to live in what we call "Flüchtlingsheime" where a lot of people who flew where put together not regarding nationality or their mental state etc so basically my father who was mentally sane and just flew from war had to put up with traumatized people who drank all day and literally smashed toilets and other stuff for no reason in their own room while also not being able to work and thus earn any money (meaning everything had to be sent by his father from abroad).
    Imagine that: you flew from your country in order to not be drawn into war and this is what you have to put up with. That doesnt mean everything is bad, but thats just another example where the system is kind of flawed imo

    • @sblbb929
      @sblbb929 Před rokem

      His family gets government assistance and has enough money to live and his dad didn't work because of personal problems (drinking). He was helping the family by living off his own hard earned money in his bank instead of relying on them. Remember he just came from military service, a job.
      Anyways So let's say he finds a job for 4 month and he earns enough to feed the family, the government would retract their assistance because someone in that household now earns enough to raise them above the threshold, meaning they would potentially have same money or less as with gov assistance. But he wants to go to university soon so the parents would have to reapply for assistance again and start from zero. Instead they force him to go to a program intended for unemployed people to re-activate them (even tho it's his dad that is the long term unemployed one). If he didn't go they'd cut his parents assistance. This system usually works fine but It was straight up stupid in this case

Your mind needs work to stay sharp so you don't rest on gov assistance they push you to get some kind of employment. If you refuse they cut the assistance. If you can't find a job after a time they send you to somethinf like this. Basically this was a kind of therapy thing intended people who have a hard time getting employed (stupids) or grow up around crime (to keep them out of crime). Works pretty well according to studies

      In a country with an average IQ of 100 there are still roughly 15% of people with an IQ below 85, about 5% with an IQ below 75.
      Some of those people are actually borderline retarded, and i dont mean retarded as an insult, but rather as "really close to the legal definition of mental disability"-retarded.
      Even if given simple jobs, many of them will actually do more harm than good, and given the cost of required supervision for those people, they actually contribute negative value/productivity while "working" most of the time.

      15% m8, those are millions of people. (e.g. for Germany's 80 Million population thats 12 Million people with an IQ below 85), don't you think there might be some overlap in the two groups we are describing.
      Just because you are too stupid to do productive work (sadly) doesn't mean you are too stupid to have children and receive benefits.
