TommyKay Reacts to Oversimplified's video on WW2: • GERMAN REACTS TO WW2! ...
So apparently this video was blocked in Germany and some other countries, so Tommy had to find a different version it to be able to learn more about the life of Hilter and his rise. As mentioned at the bottom, this all educational and it's not meant to encourage people to have these kind of views. We are adamantly against this ideology and everything Hilter stood for. It's just interesting to look back at history and learn on how this all happened.
Tommy plays HOI4 all day and now it's time for him to learn a little bit more in depth about the history behind the game. To no one's surprise Tommy yet again doesn't know about a lot of the stuff in this video so you can learn along with him.
Yes, I know I'm misspelling Hilter, there's a good reason for it.
REMEMBER! This is all educational and for entertainment! We will moderate comments, so behave yourself and keep it educational.

There is a big difference between feeling empathetic and feeling sympathetic towards something.
You can/should feel empathy when something bad happens to anybody, no matter what that said person did. However, a bad past doesn't excuse bad behaviour of any sorts.
Use your Empathy as an reminder that nobody gets born a monster, but that monsters are made by either happenstance or unhealthy environments.
Don't feel sympathy towards monsters just because they were once human, feel sorry for them for what they lost and hold them accountable for what they did to others.

Sorry I thought it is obvious that Germany didn't really start the war eaven if Germany declared war first on Russia and than against France.
Germany made it offical since Russia did a full mobilisation and back than it was common sense that the country who did the mobilisation quicker has a important advantage in the first months of a war. So when a neighboring big nation did a full mobilisation it was seen as a defacto declaration of war if diplomacy did fail.
Also I believe that Germany did know that Russia had confirmation from France to back them.
Who would start a war without a war goal to achieve something?

The communist party also was gaining large amounts of suppoort in the late 1920s and we all know how a communist government turns out. With how the allies brutally punished Germany after WW1 the way I see it is they basicly ensured someone would become a dictator, but obviously the allies could not have foreseen the 1929 crash which only emboldened Hitlers cliams that only he could save Germany. Some of the common variants were Hitler, Hiedler, Hüttler, Hytler, and Hittler.[3] The name may be a spelling variation of the name Hiedler, meaning one who resides by a Hiedl-in Austro-Bavarian dialects a term for a subterranean fountain or river.[4] Or the Hitler surname may be based on "one who lives in a hut" (German Hütte for "hut").[5] Alois Schicklgruber (Adolf's father) changed his surname on 7 January 1877 to "Hitler", which was the only form of the last name that his son Adolf used.[6]"

I put swastika in quotes earlier because I have done a lot of research about the many different versions used by a number of different races and religions. In doing that research I read, from someone who is a lot smarter than I am and an avid activist for the swastika because of his religions version of it, that Hitler never actually called his symbol a swastika. He called it a hooked cross, Hakenkreuz. It is believed by some that the people who translated the literature later changed it to swastika to prevent anybody relating "hooked cross" to the church.
There are a dozen versions of the swastika that I know of. 11 of them are positive. But all of them have a crazy stigma about them because of one man using it as a symbol for terrible crazy shit.

It said that a family had a child with mental disabilities and asked the german government if they could have the child euthanized . Hitler liked the idea so it became policy. They also tried to do it to the elderly, but they couldn't get the german citizens to agree with it.

Also, a very famous church with swastikas all over the floor is York Minster in England. A swastika can represent a perfect circle, the sun, one of God's greatest creations, a giver of life, etc. There is nothing wrong with it, no matter what someone or some people may or may not have done who used the symbol themselves.

EDIT: By the way Toland has been attacked in recent years by some moronic critics who claim he was trying to improve Hitler's image. He was NOT. The purpose of the book was to show that Hitler was a human, not some mystical super beast. Toland was simply doing something unknown to writers today: Relaying information without a political slant. People are so unused to that today that they can't recognize true objectivity.
A fairly old book in English (from the 70's) called simply "Adolf Hitler" by John Toland gives deep and valuable insights into Hitler's life, rise, fall, etc. Toland was the first English speaking author to interview Hitler's confidants in-depth and has never truly been successfully duplicated by any other author; and it is written with no real slant, just information.
Many books have come since, but in the English-speaking world, Toland's was the first, and is still the English history of Hitler by which all others are measured today. Check it out sometime (might be difficult to get in Germany, but it is academic, so it might be accessible).

The allies did not fuck Germany in WW1, the kaiser did! It was Kaiser Wilhelm II who wanted to invade Russia, however France and Russia were allies in that time period so it would mean also a war with France. The kaiser literally chose to fight two fronts at the same time and chose to attack France first (before Russia). Later on in 1941 hitler made the same stupid mistake of voiding the agreement with the Soviet Union and fighting on multiple fronts. If Hitler did not invade the Soviet Union and kept it's pact with Stalin things might look very different today.

About the swastika (9:40) - Helena Blavatsky, co-founder of the teosophical society, claimed to have travelled to Tibet and stayed near a buddhist monastery. There, the buddhist monks were said to have showed her ancient scrolls that spoke of the "root races" of the world. The symbol for the aryan race was the swastika. Other funny races include the "hyperboreans" that pretty much check every box of the Sami people.
Anyways, she was hugely popular among German occultists in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
