While this layout isn't going to be for everyone I personally REALLY like it. It checks a lot of the boxes I personally look for. Taller ceiling, bigger bed, plenty of prep space, and a host of smart appointments all around! It really strikes me as a new breed of "stick and tin" couple's camping travel trailer!

This might just be the best layout I've ever seen in a couple's camper, it's perfect. It's just too bad that it wasn't built 5 years ago when campers were better manufactured.

The flexibility of being able to eat at the breakfast bar or theater seating is awesome👍one bathroom sink is fine for the vast majority of us that don’t have to share the bathroom with their partner at the same time😂and no TV and a plastic toilet is just plain cheap😩

I couldn't go any longer in a camper so got a 22rb, I had to choose recliners OR U-dinette. I know the U dinette isn't all that comfy, BUT for the same reason you just mentioned...I like for the time you might want to gather and play cards. If I want to 'lounge' and watch TV, I drop the U dinette into 'bed mode' (which this particular U dinette is HUGE = 1/2 kind bed!) and it is fine.

I really like the layout! Nice to see something different. To answer your questions:
    1. I am fine with choosing my own TV. Good way to keep costs down.
    2. The bathroom...while the double vanity certainly isn't necessary for us, there's something visually pleasing about the symmetry. Love the storage too!
    3. Lose the Lagoon table and use the bar.
    4. Kitchen storage is lacking, which is the biggest drawback to this unit.
    5. Nice awning!
    6. Love the kitchen outside.
    7. Overall, this is a nice package!
Side note: I was recently locked out of the camper and had to climb into the pass-through storage and climb up the laundry chute, which was no easy task. 😮 My friends came to watch the show. Slightly embarrassing, but I got in. Lol. Thanks for the videos, Josh.

Thanks Nerd! I need the lagoon table. But I would potentially investigate trimming the arm. I am not a fan of 2 bathroom sinks, would rather one large as is possible for the space and more counter space. I love the big back bathroom. I like the additional to Bish's line up, I think it was a great decision.

I like the camper. I agree with you, I like a drawer or 2 in the kitchen area for spoons, forks and knives. More counter space in the bathroom. No need for 2 sinks there. His and hers tooth brush cabinets is cool.

  • @EverythingRVbyPat
    @EverythingRVbyPat Před měsícem +1

This looks great. I like the look out the bathroom window believe it or not... Curtains can be easily closed when in use but the light in through the bathroom window is great. For the bathroom sink, I definitely prefer only having one. Put it in the center under the mirror and give counter space along side both sides of the sink so you have more room for her crap on the one side and you have less clutter getting into your side. One sink also means only one trap to deal with and one faucet to have leaking, etc... Less problems.
Regarding the TV, I would like to see one TV come from the dealership/manufacturer but I certainly like the idea of including the mounts rather than just a backer plate. Install the mounts and then let the customer use them as they please. But one nice travel safe TV in the main area, that can also be used for computer monitor and smart TV would be great.
The ladder hookup for the extending ladder is perfectly fine and in fact would be my preference. Coming from the ground to the ladder seems like a better choice for fat guys. LOL...
Lastly, the Y connecter isn't a bad thing. But neither is dumping once every couple of days. I have in the past just let the gray water run out because I had a washer in the previous rig. For that reason I didn't like to run the washer unless we were connected to the sewer and had the valve open. But moving the hose to dump the black, and bath gray then reconnecting to the kitchen gray to rinse everything out isn't a big deal. Just part of the process.
All in all, I kind of like this little guy.
    Pat

One larger bowl bathroom sink with much more counter space is in order here. Overall, love this, love this, love this. I could see myself in this one here. I certainly appreciate how they are trying to save costs on this and they did very well, but there is room for improvement. I don't even mind the little cubby hole storage with no magnetic holds. 2 drops underneath is a little much, but doable for the grey/black drops. 30 gallon tank propane or more should be the industry standard now, just a thought here.

This doesn’t really seem like a full time RV, in my opinion, so it shouldn’t be a problem for most folks. I love it, but was actually looking for something with recliners AND a place to sit with private bedroom, but at the time I was shopping, that was a tough find (so I went for the U dinette only option) in a shorter camper...until NOW. WOW! This camper, for me, is nearly perfect. I'd miss my big pantry, though. I think they could use the area in the bathroom where they have the useless second sink and instead add a tall cabinet there, for towels,.then take a couple shelves out of that cabinet next to the shower and use it for broom, etc. I have the ginormous single sink countertop in my 22rb and have to admit, it's A LOT of space for 'just' a bathroom countertop.

My husband and I could literally do without that table. P.S., We'd have to talk about the ladder and changing those locks. For us, it's between the IBEX with the great curt shock systems and this RV. Thanks for narrowing down our selection.

How about a sink cover for one of the bathroom sinks to use it for counter space?

  • @pennylynch4471
    @pennylynch4471 Před měsícem +1

Nice layout, comfortable size. The CCC is impressive!
Bathroom- 1 sink is good. I'd put additional storage on part of that counter, a large cupboard to store larger items, like extra linens, blankets, coats or extra clothes. Or anything, really. It would be much more useful.
I like the Laguna table. I would use the couter to have a meal, unless I wanted to watch tv. But I might use the table for games, cards, rainy day crafts...I want the option. I'd also like to see an option for a tri-fold in case there is a guest.
I do not like the idea of other people having the ability to get into my rv because of a common key. Why is that? Wouldn't that cause break-ins? Is it possible to add/replace with a specific key lock?

Love this floor plan, definitely one sink, couple kitchen drawers, also would be happy with queen bed, and I prefer couches without the center arm rest.
Would love if IBEX or Ember made this layout, with their off-road packages OR Ozark had an off road package with the beast suspension and 600W+ solar

  • @RothePhoenix

I had to double check the title because the floorplan looked like an Ember? you'd just done. 😅
I like this floorplan and agree the lagoon table isn't necessary. It would be nice if they put some drawers behind doors though.

Initial impression is a very sharp, livable decor. Light, bright upholstery. Those 2 bar chairs are too intrusive into the entry space. Smaller stools would be appreciated. All of the stickers on the entry wall are an eyesore that immediately detracts from the otherwise chill ambiance. For me, good ambiance outweighs many less attractive issues. There does need to be reading lights, even little flexible lights mounted to the cabinet walls on either side would be great. Theater seat table definitely needs to be lower or adjustable. Nix the second sink absolutely and replace the remaining sink with a larger one. Very nice start.

Man, if you're gonna do outdoor speakers, this is the way... I like this trailer a lot. Also, in a "budget" sensitive model like this, no thanks on the TV. Maybe use the budget for a stock heated LiFePO battery instead of lead acid? I don't understand the sewer plumbing on this one.

Being 6' 10" tall, I love the fact that some smaller rigs are being made with 7' ceilings. I don't like the thought of having to tow a small house around the country just so I can have a tall enough ceiling.
I generally like this floor plan because they fit most of the essentials into a small package. I spotted several areas that I would probably do a little DIY tweaking to improve things but I can see the manufacturer tried to include plenty of features for this price point.
I do agree that the bathroom only needs one sink. The Lagoon table would make a nice computer desk, but it should be a bit lower. I'm thinking it wouldn't be too hard to DIY a couple drawers in the kitchen, but having one or two from the factory would be good.
    Overall, I like it.

I would like separation between under bed and outdoor storage. Only need 1 sink in bathroom. I like the table by the recliners but needs to be shorter. Needs a bigger refrigerator. Smaller bed so it is not against the wall. I don't like the tall window in the bedroom. Love the option of exterior walls. Should always include ladders. Tie the 2 gray tanks together.

It is very nice for sure but I would like an actual oven myself just because I would not always be camping at a park and 200 watts is is not enough for running a microwave so if I'm not plugged in or using a generator I can't really cook. I do always like that you give the way you give the good with the bad though.

No amount of solar runs a microwave

Nice coverage of this very nice camper. I don't see the link for your video on the various skin construction methods.
I see the two sinks in the bathroom and wonder "why" when the mirror is only covering the center of the counter. Save some money on the second sink and put in some struts, both would be more useful.

Such a perfect layout! Only problem I have with it is the stinky little bedroom! Is there another model just like it only a few feet longer? Love that the microwave is BELOW the cooktop so short people like me can use it safely. The walk i n rectangular shower and double sinks are the bomb! And that big window.....just just that small bedroom and the bed looks to be too high too

Bathroom sink layout is weird - IMHO better design would be floor to ceiling closet (maybe combo W/D prep) with 1 larger sink. Did I see the fresh water tank fill on the camp side all the way around by the door? Receiver for cargo rack would be nice - those underbelly storage doors don't look very tall. Small exterior storage cubby near rear for water/electric hoses would be nice. Overall a cute little couples "getaway" unit. Thanks Josh.

  • @scottjeffrey2450

How about a 2nd door instead of the camp side Full Length Flasher window in the bedroom? Other than that the only change I'd make is add a sink/dishwasher combo and space out the axles a bit front and rear. Mostly nailed it though!
*edit* No real reason for two bathroom sinks. Here's a thought, why haven't bathroom sinks that sit on top of the counter caught on with rvs? I've seen a couple and it seems like it makes sense to open up the undersink area for stowage while still providing many options for function and or fashion.
    Thanks Nerd!

Personally, I find vessel sinks a royal pain in the backside to keep clean. A bit like open shelving--more cleaning for the same amount of use. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

1 sink in bathroom, move the outdoor kitchen to the back, then kitchen drawers. Do not like the under bed storage connected to pass through. Chairs seem in the way at the counter, but a great idea. Do think the removable table is a good idea, but wish it was two individual tables like Rockstaff.
