Good voice but needs a lot of training.
There must be 12 000 apprentice-tenors on you tube singing this huge opera aria as if it was a charming pop-song. It appears they don't imagine how much work it needs to possess the right voice and the right vocal technic before presenting this piece on a stage in a manner that honors the awesome composer Puccini was.
(and I don't speak of the horrible tamperings they usually have to do, cutting the partition with a chain saw because 3 minutes are too long to participate to a popular tv show !
At that point, Puccini must leap in his grave...).

I would love to see opera singers sing a song more current or something entirely unexpected. I love listening to this, but he must be relevant in the market that The Voice caters too.

Nessun Dorma is a great aria. But it has been done far too often on these talent shows. It's beginning to get tedious. Contestants, please sing another aria. There are plenty more to choose from written by many composers.
One of the most horrible versions out there. And with just a piano? Who in their right mind would sing this song with just a piano? Pathetic, pathetic, pathetic! Just pathetic!

Listen this track by Alexandre Podolian a ukrainian kid....it's other thing !
why so mean ? He sings well, he had the courage to go and sing as an amateur in front of tens of thousands of people, and here you are calling the performance pathetic. Yes, it was accompanied only by a piano, we don't know the reason why, but that should not warrant such words from you.
Bon regardez plutôt la performance d'un jeune garçon Ukrainien nommé Alexandre Podolian chantant "Nessun dorma" dans un concours ukrainien c'est autrement plus touchant que cette version....vous ne le regretterez pas....le seul hic provient du public plutôt indiscipliné pendant une performance ou tout le monde devrait plutôt écouter qu'autre chose
