The third singer has a magnificent voice; he was deservedly rewarded with a golden buzzer. Laura Bretan also has a remarkable voice; she will have a very bright future.
Laura also got a golden buzzer from Mel for that audition! Wish they hadn't cut it off. That video makes me cry like a baby every time I watch it. I just love her. And I agree- the 3rd guy was so powerful and amazing!
Am I the only one who doesn't like when the audience starts cheering and clapping at the climax part? We just can't listen to the singing with all the sounds, we can't hear anything with all the acclamations...
No, you're not the only one who doesn't like the audience hooting and hollering during the climax... I seriously wish they would respect the singer enough to hold back their applause until the song is done. I don't want to hear them but the singer to who I came here to watch and listen to. So take comfort, you're not the only one, sign me "für Elise", I love to listen to good opera without the applause!
The Paul Potts audition is an absolute classic not only by his performance but also all that it meant for the program and the format in the years to come. I'm standing here, decade(s) afterwards, and I'm so glad ordinary people get onto this programmes.... Just cheers and keep it coming :)
The arab was the best ! Out of all amateur I’ve ever heard in my life, his voice is the best !! And I understand everything he sings too I’m really impressed
agreed totally. BUT, this song was sung best by Mario Lanza. No, that is not true. Perhaps they can share the podium, because this indeed is one of the best editions i have heard so far
I CAN,T stop listening to Paul sing. When Paul sang he sound a little bit like Pavarotti.the lady judge and all the judges couldn't hold their emotions the way Paul sang. They all almost crid .Im not ashamed to say that i had tears in my eyes. EVEN SIMON got emotional. and you better believe she had goosebumps.Paul voice was incredible good, it's not that much how loud you sing, but it's the tone the heart and the love you put in and Paul had it .Pavarotti would have been proud of him. Go Paul Go.
To us Italian that’s the worse, he’s just shouting mumbo jumbo he’s not pronouncing the words just trying to hit the right notes. The powerful text of the song it’s what makes it amazing, if you can’t understand what he says it loses its magic.
I'm impressed by #3 contestant he is the only one of the five that if taking proper lessons have a chance to turn professional, all others are good but the natural sound of their voices who unfortunately cannot be change is not compatible with opera.
@@barbaraaldam204 Sing Opera where? Not at "La Scala" not at the "Lincoln Center" not in any production featuring the entire Opera start to finish. She's good for high quality Karaoke and I'm glad she's making deserved millions but it is still Karaoke that's all.
Great, but the best is missing: Amira Willighagen, winner of Holland's Got Talent at 9 years old. Simon Cowell declared of her to the British press "What a total star!".
Was für wunderbare Stimmen !
I hope Laura Bretan sticks with opera. She has an incredible sound. Kakhaber Chumburidze made me cry. He is the kind of talent that comes once in a blue moon while I'd love to hear Martin Hurkens as a baritone
@@a-kw1pd Yes, I am a trained professional singer. Having a child try to sing opera at such a young age is abuse. In the end, she will have to undo the damage done by singing like this.
@@billybaldwin8918 in that case you must know more about Opera. She definitely is too young to sing Opera. Or anyone below 18-19 for that matter should not do it too much. But honestly saying that she doesn't sound anything like Opera singer. You definitely don't sound like a coach or professional trainer 😂😂
*Jackie Evancho,* who is still the biggest selling singer ever from America's Got Talent, sings an incredibly beautiful version of Nessun Dorma. She sings it as a closing song at her concerts and she included it on her Gold selling album *'Dream With Me'*
And Jackie did sing Nessun Dorma as a performing guest on Britain's Got Talent. She did it when she was younger than Laura Bretan on this collection, and she definitely did it better. She's should have been included even if it had to be the 7 best (to get Amira into the act, as well).
I miss the best. Amira Willighagen. She,s the worlds most impressive and unique super soprano . Listen to her Nessun Dorma version at the Classics is Groot concert in South Africa. She will blow your socks off.
Complimenti Giuseppe, hai composto un bellissimo video. Ho i brividi. Finalmente un po' d'onore alla musica italiana. La più bella del mondo. Da sempre
what pride, what wonder the whole world is moved and thousands of artists try the music is by puccini, ITALIAN, and, in my opinion, pavarotti is the best ITALIAN interpreter. the world loves Italy and her precious artistic message and Italy reciprocates this love to the world.
I you like these versions I advise you to check MB14 Nessun Dorma He's a french actor who had to sing it for a very special movie, called Tenor Both his version, and the film, are insanely good
Pavoratti will always be the best. But these 5 are astounding. I hope they all went somewhere good, and praise your efforts to track down these foreign (for English speaking people anyway) performances such as that last one from Holland (which fwiw i recognized as Dutch because I took German in high school but thought "half of these words sound German and half of them don't so it must be Dutch lol)
One thing I notice is that they all are singing ITALIAN OPERA and they are very good it's like listening to siners in NYC although I do enjoy it and people pay to listen to it and big money and in the THEATER AREA, as I have worked in places that sing and play the piano like upscale places and fine dining places. NYC, is home to BROADWAY many places.

Absolutely. Let's hear it and wait till the end.
I would give you the answer you’re seeking, but the cost would be too much.
I agree 100%
I have never heard a woman sing this song let alone a 13 year old girl; phenomenal!!
Pavarotti is the GOAT, but all of these singers were fantastic
This is, for me, the most beautiful piece of music ever written. I watched and listened to everyone of these performers. They are wonderful.
Laura Bretan she has an amazing power of voice that impacts every cell in my body making me vibrate when I hear her
Laura Bretan what a little cuttie, with a wonderful voice, and Mums' full support well done Laura, well done................. John ..Oxford UK

She sounds nothing like an opera singer and will end up destroying her voice if she continues to sing like that.
my ears bleed
Kakhaber Chumburidze got me all teary too.
Laura is a darling. To sing like that at her age is amazing.

just one more thing.... 9 year old Amira Willighagen being left off this list is insane. As an adult she is world class, but at 9.... yeah...insane.

Thank you for this video. I'm appreciated.
Magnificent performances- let us not forget Giacomo Puccini, who wrote this masterpiece.
Agreed!
Amazing girlie! ❤Lyrics are totally rewritten though😂
Yes, you win!!! Your last note ❤
Bravissimo 💖💕 Anche il grande Pavarotti sarebbe stato orgoglioso di te. Super 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Watched all five & the Dutch guy ( Martin Hurkens) was hands down the best!
PAUL IS SO HUMBLE AND GRACIOUS SO AMAZING. WHAT A GUY!
This is a tough gig. Everybody it going to be compared to Pavarotti. The ALL held their own.

Beautiful and calming😢
This video gave me many gozebumbs 😢❤
Pavarotti would be proud
If you heard Pavarotti, you're done. He ruined every one after him.
If Corelli had held that last note a bit longer, it would've been a tie.
They're all so great.
How did Laura do that? That’s beyond stunning 🎉
