Been eating it and craving it. Like crazy. Ordered a big box of Royal Jell-O from Amazon. That's probably why they give it to you in the hospital. I have noticed just in a few days of eating it. I've had less aches and pains in my legs.

Cravings here, too. I've now got a stash of GV brand jello, and plan to get the unflavored, and make it with fruit juice to get rid of the sugar. I don't like artificial sweeteners. I eat a bowl (1 pkg. 3oz) per day. I was never a jello eater, but I certainly am now. My wrists (old injury) are 85% pain free and my neck stopped cracking. My skin got smooth right away. I've been taking it for about a month, I guess, and I am definitely seeing a difference. I read that it's good for teeth, too. I will be experimenting with different juices to see what works. Not into pills. I take pills already, and I'm not that good about it. Jello makes a great light lunch or snack without too many calories.

Gelatin from pigs might be; however, if you paid attention, it says all mammals have it. Mammals includes goats, sheep, and cows.

Ignorance is not good for health. Gelatin is made from different animals and plants too. It depends on the type you purchase. No, you cannot eat the gelatin made from pork because if your religion. But you can eat the other kinds. According to your religion: As far as the Islamic ruling on gelatin is concerned, Dr. Su`aad Salih, professor of Fiqh at Al-Azhar Univ., gives the following Fatwa:
“Gelatin is a brittle substance extracted by boiling bones, hoofs, and animal tissues. So it depends on the animal itself. If it is an animal whose meat is Halal, such as cow, camel, sheep and so on, then gelatin is Halal, and so is the case with all foods prepared from it. However, if the animal is of Haram meat such as pigs, then the gelatin made of it is unlawful.
Thus, gelatin is Halal unless it is derived from an animal whose meat is Haram to consume. This is the ruling on gelatin extracted from animals. As for vegetable and artificial gelatin, they are Halal and there is nothing wrong in eating and using them.”
Lying about stuff like this, which is what you did is forbidden. You told a lie. You are only allowed to lie during practice called taqiyya where lying is permissible under three conditions: battle, reconciliation of people, reconciling of spouses.

Pat Stone thanks pal. I avoided gelatine religiously for years. Now I take a sachet a day. My hair grows like weeds and I have to cut my nails all the time. Im like a plant thats getting great minerals. People who have not seen me for some time comment that I look much better. Gelatine is like an internal moisturiser. The great bodybuilder Steeve Reeves drank it daily. I think it is fantastic. And since it is almost pure protein it helps with diabetes.
As for the Islamic position. The Muslim Judicial Council in Cape Town South Africa have blessed it with their Halaal stamp. At a nominal fee of course. That is only the bovine gelatine and not the swine kind. No pig! No pig!
I used to read all ingredients in sweets etc to make sure I am a non Harami. As I got older I thought you actually need to worry more about how women can get stoned to death, girls being forced to marry old men and all the folk burning in Hell because they have not accepted Allah. I mean burning humans. There is a supreme being who burns the gelatine right out of people. And you worried about jello?
