    I was on the tacomaworld forum today checking out windshield nozzle issues- one guy had the exact same issue as you, and a guy replied to his problem saying:
    "There is no adjustment for the nozzle however, there is three nozzle part numbers. A 0°, a + 1° and a -1°. all three are non-adjustables" That might be something to pursue.
    Another had the same problem because his hood was warped from the factory, and had to have a body shop fix it. Said that if you look at the hood, sitting in the drivers seat, and the corners of the hood are slightly depresses, and not flush with the body, you may have this issue.... Anyway, food for thought...

      I did a quick search and for a 2023 Tacoma 6 cylinder TRD Offroad -
      Washer Nozzle 85381-30220 is 0 degree,
      Washer Nozzle 85381-30230 is -2 degrees,
      and Washer Nozzle 85381-30240 is +2 degrees.
      It would be interesting to see what the current installed part number is.... I couldn't see the part number on the invoice you showed on your previous video.

    Actually you can adjust them. Use a tooth pick. Put a toothpick in the hole and you can move it where ever you want. Insert tooth pick where the water sprays out and it will rotate and move to where you want it. You could also use a paper clip. I’m surprised the dealer had no idea how to adjust the spray.

It looks purple in certain lighting, Ugg 🤣, but I got a hell of a deal on it, used w/ 8000 miles. Takin it in for the recall tomorrow. I LOVE this truck too man, I guess we all bought em for the same reason: hopefully we go 20 years & don’t have to shop for another truck. I’ll check back in 2044 with ya on that 🤣🙏🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

      that part is the hood itself lol so no ones is going to cut out a chunk of a hood...

  • @chukzombi
    @chukzombi Před 26 dny

    if you get a new hood, is the paint still going to match when the rest of the vehicle has had time to fade a bit? its a new vehicle so that seems silly to think about, but the idea of a whole new hood over a 99 cent plastic piece is crazy to me. is anybody at Toyota paying attention to whats going on at their dealerships?

    • @cutlerylover
      @cutlerylover  Před 26 dny +1

      I doubt it would get to that but it is what it is, if the color didnt match I would have them paint the whole truck lol...OR I would deal with the sprayer not working I suppose, maybe they would give me a new 2024 instead LMAO I have no idea where this rabbit hole leads to be honest the washer sprayer not working right can be considered a dangerous situation since it makes it hard to see out the window BUT it would be worse if it was the drivers side...

    The fact that a bad WW sprayer keeps stumping your dealership service guys is kind of concerning.

  • @TheOVprodigy
    @TheOVprodigy Před 26 dny

    Losing an axel while driving wouldn’t be dangerous, just for your own piece of mind. You would just lose power to that specific wheel which would be annoying but not dangerous and definitely not potentially fatal

    • @cutlerylover
      @cutlerylover  Před 26 dny +2

      a sudden decrease in speed like heavy braking and ability to accelerate can easily cause an accident and if a semi is behind you is may be fatal

    • @TheOVprodigy
      @TheOVprodigy Před 26 dny

      It would be as though your engine lost all power. So it’s the same amount of danger as if your engine were to shut completely off. Anything can be stretched to risk of death on the road because the road is a dangerous place. You’d be able to just coast off the road. And I believe your truck has the rear differential locker, so if you engaged that you be able to just drive it to the shop, although it’s not really recommended to drive on asphalt with the diff locked even with one wheel working

    • @TheOVprodigy
      @TheOVprodigy Před 26 dny

      There are other failures like brake, ball joints, other front end components that will actually cause you to lose control of the vehicle. A loss of power is about as safe of a mechanical failure as it gets

    • @cutlerylover
      @cutlerylover  Před 26 dny

      @@TheOVprodigy I know I wouldn't want it to happen when im driving, lol, sure a tire blowout can be way worse but what if you are on the highway in traffic like a merge now I can get off the highway with other vehicles coming my way, I cant easily get out and off the highway to a safe area...you can make the argument no failure is fatal or the argument than any failure you can live though it heavily depends on your situation when it happens...

    you have got money issues and you are driving around in a 35k car? why bro? you could sell that and buy a used car for 2 or 3 k from the 90's/early 2000's that if you take care of it will last you the rest of your life my god that is crazy

    • @therioq123
      @therioq123 Před 27 dny +3

      That works for some people sure. On the other hand and I'm not really talking about him just having money doesn't automatically solve anything. If you sell your new car for let's say 35k and buy a used car for 3k you will still have to maintain it and it will be more costly than a new one. When you do run out of money at that point you are having money issues and drive around in a used car.
      If he's able to keep this on the road with the current income it's really not that crazy.
