- I hate to do a repeat video, but before I buy 100 of these Blades, I want to See how they work in my Merkur long handle. I needed to try out the Blades in a razor I'm familiar with. This is the second time trying out these blades so we will see how they do this time. Also a quick preview of Ever Ready Brushes ready for a restore.

These blades tend to get a lot of hate but i strongly recommend to form your own opinion. There are skin types for which they are just perfect. After over 1 year of DE shaving they are clearly my favorite, id prefer them over astras, feathers or personnas any day. Perfect balance in smoothness and sharpness. My skin really doesn't benefit from a super sharp blade, just gets it more irritated.

Love that "Fine" product. I am currently using the American Blend.
Dorco red They are excellent blades, very smooth. Even more than the Astra (be it superior platinum or stainless steel)

Nice Ken. A good ad for those who might be hesitant to join the wetshaving revolution. It doesn't have to complicated, time consuming, or costly.
You are right. It's a lot better than the $$$ you pay for cartridge razors. It is an addicting hobby though👍
+Kensurfs I know all about addiction. There are worse things than buying shave gear. You can always sell off things as well. It's alot of fun.

Another great review. Interesting, how Dorco blades will show itself in the razor Pearl. I have one, as you know. Actually rarely seen such an attentive blogger, who always read the comments and immediately responds audience. I am always grateful to you. Also, since you're said, what you enjoy doing surveys that ask people. I ask you in the future to do a review on the VOSKHOD blades, any razor, Pearl for example, or Merkur.
I just ordered 100 Voskhod blades on eBay from Russia. I will do a video review of them as soon as they arrive. How do you like those blades?
My Congratulations. To tell you the truth, I'm too, this week was going to try them. I don't know how well they works, but all users saying, that they are very good. For example Paul, from England, says that Voskhod is his favorite Russian's blades. The name Voskhod translates as Sunrise.

Cool brush! Ken! I gotta stock up on menthol creams! It was damn near or was 100 degrees yesterday here in azusa! Well at least I'll be in good ol Laguna Niguel all weekend with my little one enjoying the weather there!
The weather will be much better in Laguna. HB was nice, the in laws live in Hemet, was 104 yesterday there.

Which is your favorite Fine Accouterments aftershave scent if you had to pick one?
I just bought a packet of 10 here in Japan at the Japanese equivalent of a Dollar Store. So 9 cents a blade. Checked out CZcams to see if I wasted my time and money. Apparently worth trying.
Is the Dorco razor any good? I been thinking about buying one to see if it is any good.
Jerry G The de Dorco is a pretty good starter. The dorco Platinum Blade is much better than the old for I Blades though
