      So does it actually add HP for sure? And does it help the gas mileage? I'm wanting one for my 2019, but these negative reviews are making me rethink. I wanna know for sure from someone who actually ones one. Thanks

      @@SuperSaiyanX-0014 I am very happy with mines, does if feel like it has gained more power? YES it does to ME! I have only noticed .6 better per gallon in fuel savings. Since I have added this, I have added other items (Larger Throttle body and CAI) Prior to those additions, the Pulsar impressed me... then adding these other items have made me feel the RAM is now awake. Again, these are MY Opinions with my truck and combinations. I have a buddy who has a 2018 RAM and he drove mines.... he made the same purchase of the Pulsar.

I pick up my 2019 Laramie 1500 all black sport package build (with the ram boxes) next week, thanks for saving me $500.00 plus extra gas I would probably be spending I'm sure. 👍🏽 Love the sound of your truck too, I'm definitely doing that muffler change.

      @@sonsofliberty3081 Uh, this isn't giving you any more horsepower either. Just changes shift points and throttle responses. The latter is what most people notice the most. • @sonsofliberty3081

    The resting or idle isn't any different. The difference is when the engine is cold it idles higher than when its warm. All engines do do this.

      @smslimited5319  Před 5 lety

      No actually it is lower than it was, when it is a cold start it’s pretty high, but I installed this in the middle of the day after driving for a while. Plus I know my truck and how it normally behaved, there was a change.

  • @Inane5533
    @Inane5533 Před 5 lety +12

    If your truck resting RPM is over 1k, it's either cold or something is wrong. Just saying the truck feels more powerful isn't beneficial to anyone. Show numbers, before and after. Give an actual review of the product.

    • @92clintonr
      @92clintonr Před 5 lety +4

      His review made sense to me. I understand it definitely helped his truck. He said it increased throttle response and power as he's able to smoke the tires off the line without even trying now. How about you go make a video doing a better job?

      @jasoncentore1830 Před 3 lety

      Mine runs 1000 cold then down to exactly 500. His idle is definitely to high, probably from mods. I like the performance, but anything you buy eats up your engine. I'm getting the Pedal Commander, but that doesn't do anything but send a faster signal from the Gas Pedal

    No way the RPMS sat that high unless cold. Unit is a waste of money, just like the pedal commander. Its all an illusion for those that don't know about cars. Its business. You want true results, TUNE IT.

    • @jeffklaubo3168
      @jeffklaubo3168 Před 5 lety +2

      Well, at least the pedal commander doesnt make any claims on hp/torque gains. Hell they go out of their way several times to say that. They advertise as to what they are, a response improvement. Which is not without purpose in many drive by wire vehicles.

      Moparmaster the cruise control works normally, however you cannot change modes on the ECU while the cruise control is engaged.

    Something happens then you wonder why the dealer wont cover anything. Trust me they know if you put anything it will void your warranty that doesn't belong to that truck even if you disconnect it. Just got my 2019 ram limited trust I'm not doing this to mines no need.

    • @smslimited5319
      @smslimited5319  Před 5 lety +6

      Completely transforms the truck, I can understand the hesitations, dealers can say what they want but they have to prove anything that malfunctions was directly related to the modification you did. I’m not worried about any issues and luckily my wife is a Lawyer and I’m not afraid to fight with a dealer to get things covered.

    This video is useless without a Dyno run.

    • @92clintonr
      @92clintonr Před 5 lety +6

      Not really. It's quite clear it woke his truck up. That's one thing people don't seem to understand. Yea sure a tuner may add marginal HP and torque. But the real benefit is the overall driveability. Throttle response and engines willingness to rev always increases with a tuner. I understood from this video his truck is much more lively. Also the fact he can turn mds off on any tune is very nice to know.

    • @ericferguson4114
      @ericferguson4114 Před 5 lety +3

      There’s multiple dyno runs with the Pulsar. 25-27rwhp which is pretty damn good for an out of the box canned tune. I have one on my 17, much better drivability.

    • @DCSPEED23
      @DCSPEED23 Před 5 lety +1

      Richard Belliveau I’m not sure why you are hating on the video, obviously you took the time to watch it and I’m just a normal consumer not a technician to tell you all the exact numbers. All I can give you a review on is how easy it was to install, change modes and my initial reaction to the difference I feel after adding this mod. If you can’t see a value in that I’m not sure I can help.
