While Ei, never used the gnosis aside from that one attempt to house it on scaramouche, and she's also learned to accept her mistakes and responsibilities. As long as he doesn't threaten Inazuma, she wouldn't try to fight him.

It was really smart of Focalor to have Neuvellete live among humans for that long of a time, since when the time comes for him to judge the other archons he will probably judge all that they did for the people they rule over unstead of just the sin of stealing from the dragons.
To be fair, the archons werent the ones who stole the dragons' power, the Heavenly Principles did and then forced the gods to fight over the Gnoses. If it were possible for Venti to give the wind dragon back their power he probably would have done it already but, like Focalors said, that would go against the Heavenly Principles and everyone knows that wouldn't have turned out well.
Best thing about fontaine quest was just how little impact traveler had on it Even if we didnt come to fontaine they would have saved themselves wich is an amazing detail
I don't think they would be able to solve the disappearance case without the traveller and also let me remind you that Navia would have died if the traveller was not there in Fontaine and so many things would have changed.
Traveler is a mostly witness, well atleast until fighting that whale arrives. I do believe that Neuvillette really needed Travelers help against the whale because they needed to fight that thing from outside and inside at the same time, Neuvillette takes care of the whale outside while Traveler fights the inside

I find it fitting that he has the biggest beef with Zhongli since he basically predates all other archons and had probably usurped the power of the dragon sovereign of geo himself. Probably why he took on the form of a dragon as an adeptus which is a huge slap on a full fledge dragon's face. Nahida is the archon without the most fault. Although she is similar in archon tenure with Foçalors, Foçalors had been Egeria's familiar where Nahida was literally like Rukkhadevata's baby leaf. Not sure if he knows of the greater lord's deletion though.

It probably will go heavily in Nahida's favor that she not only saved the Dendro dragon's life and sanity, but also had to be prevented by Apep's own children from giving up all of her own life/memories/power in order to do so.
The fact that Zhongli is all serious means Zhongli is definitely more important than he already let him out to be. Besides Venti, Zhongli also very sus. For me, Liyue felt more like the place where battlefield of god take place in Archon War, because the amount of god remains there is higher than any other region. And the fact that Zhongli is the winner for Liyue Throne means a lot.

zhongli is 6 thousand years old and already acknowledged by the gods as the lord of geo even before the archon war, so there's a good chance that the last destination before celestia is liyue, where zhongli will give us a huge exposition dump with all the information we need to know after our travels in teyvat
There's also something interesting in Neuvillette's line, Only Zhongli is the one where he described about Winning the Authority, While for venti it was that he's a recipient of Authority and for Ei, she took the authority
What's curious to me is the fact that he doesn't mention the Pyro or Cryo archons. You would think that he would have something to say about them, considering that we're going to Natlan next AND since the Fatui did play a fairly positive role in Fontaine's safety and recovery during and post-prophecy. Hopefully after we visit Natlan and Snezhnaya we'll get updated voicelines for Neuvillette's view on these archons.

Finally someone who's talking about Ei's unanswered mistakes. I appreciate the added lore in her 2nd story quest but she has yet to demonstrate self-accountability for making Inazumans suffer. Like could she at least be shown visiting the Vision Hunt Decree victims to feel the weight of her decisions? At the same time, she might even gain some insight on the right kind of "eternity" she should pursue while interacting with people
Okay but like Venti gain the gnosis by default after his people killed the God of storms and the wolf of the north turned it down as well as having a friendly relationship with a dragon to the point of harming himself trying to help that dragon then giving at least part of that power back to said dragon. Ei also kinda just gained the gnosis by default after her sister died. Like neither of them actually went out of their way to gain that power, heck I bet Venti only original accepted to gain the strength to protect his people and Neuvilette not acknowledging that is kinda sad especially given the traveller knows all this information. I don't think the man realizes how done every single one of them is with being archons. Venti was never a ruler to begin with, and he was crucial in defeating the previous Anemo archon who does fit the description of someone deserving of punishment. Ei never wanted to be the sole ruler of Inazuma, and the reason she is now is the same reason why she isolates herself, depressed and unchanging: her sister is dead. With the exception of the Sakoku decree which lasted one year, she did her absolute best despite the emotional disaster she is. Nahida... Do we really need to talk about her to establish she has been through enough punishment already? Zhongli is, as demonstrated by Neuvillettes tone, the only one who we could blame to a certain degree because he is the oldest and went through a really violent phase. However, in his current state he has relinquished control over Liyue to its people; he's not a tyrannical god who want to fulfill Celestia's wishes.

Morax isn't a dragon, he just took on this form as an Adepti (Like Cloud Retainer with her crane form). Besides, Neuvillete is also not a regular dragon, like the ones in Natlan, but a hydro sovereign, who was basically a creator of life in Teyvat before Phanet came. But other than that you are right

To be fair, the archons werent the ones who stole the dragons' power, the Heavenly Principles did and then forced the gods to fight over the Gnoses. If it were possible for Venti to give the wind dragon back their power he probably would have done it already but, like Focalors said, that would go against the Heavenly Principles and everyone knows that wouldn't have turned out well.

I find it fitting that he has the biggest beef with Zhongli since he basically predates all other archons and had probably usurped the power of the dragon sovereign of geo himself. Probably why he took on the form of a dragon as an adeptus which is a huge slap on a full fledge dragon's face.
Nahida is the archon without the most fault. Although she is similar in archon tenure with Foçalors, Foçalors had been Egeria's familiar where Nahida was literally like Rukkhadevata's baby leaf. Not sure if he knows of the greater lord's deletion though.

For me, Liyue felt more like the place where battlefield of god take place in Archon War, because the amount of god remains there is higher than any other region. And the fact that Zhongli is the winner for Liyue Throne means a lot.

Finally someone who's talking about Ei's unanswered mistakes. I appreciate the added lore in her 2nd story quest but she has yet to demonstrate self-accountability for making Inazumans suffer. Like could she at least be shown visiting the Vision Hunt Decree victims to feel the weight of her decisions? At the same time, she might even gain some insight on the right kind of "eternity" she should pursue while interacting with people
Okay but like Venti gain the gnosis by default after his people killed the God of storms and the wolf of the north turned it down as well as having a friendly relationship with a dragon to the point of harming himself trying to help that dragon then giving at least part of that power back to said dragon.

Venti was never a ruler to begin with, and he was crucial in defeating the previous Anemo archon who does fit the description of someone deserving of punishment.
Ei never wanted to be the sole ruler of Inazuma, and the reason she is now is the same reason why she isolates herself, depressed and unchanging: her sister is dead. With the exception of the Sakoku decree which lasted one year, she did her absolute best despite the emotional disaster she is.

Zhongli is, as demonstrated by Neuvillettes tone, the only one who we could blame to a certain degree because he is the oldest and went through a really violent phase. @@peak407 that was during the cataclysm 500 years ago, the archon war was over 2000 years ago and rukha, deshret and nabu malikata were still around back then, except now everyone remembers nahida as being around back then instead

by that timeline, nahida (and as rukkha in the minds of everyone) never went to war. the only time rukkha was present in a battlefield was in Tunigi Hollow where Egeria died. they both did it to protect everyone against abyss creatures. nahida (and rukkha by association) sin would be 'receiving gnosis and throne' from that blasted Celestia. i think Neuvilette would pardon her bcs of the good deeds nahida did as rukkha, she even ready to sacrifice herself to heal Apep. fellow reincarnated Sovereign.
i'm sure if it's within her power, Nahida would probably destroy the Throne as well like Focalors to return what was taken from Apep bcs that is the right thing to do. i think she will be fine bcs as Irminsul avatar she will always be 'reborn'.
@@wienzard36 Tbf if Neuvillette’s opinion depended only about the archon fighting for their gnosis then venti as someone who got a gnosis in the archon war simply because Andrius didn’t like humans and decarabian was killed by his people, leaving Barbados as the only god in mond available would also be okay, the only info ingame we have of barbatos’ presence during the cataclysm is fighting against durin, besides the fact that all the archons were summoned to khanriah there is no actual evidence that he ever made it there as he was busy defending mond like Ei was inazuma while makoto left, but Neuvillette still reacts pretty negatively so it’s not about their hand in war and he would see venti and nahida similarly in that case
So that makes me wonder why he is so much more kinder in his view of nahida, but that might simply be because of the whole ‘imprisonment’ thing instead rather than having anything to do with the rest of the stuff, all the other archons were free and ‘ruling’ the rest of the time, furina and nahida were both trapped and suffering for 500 years
