I bought this product and it is great. I love it
Great to hear! Thank you for the confirmation. It is in US Customs right now so I hope I have in a few says.
Thanks Bill. Looking forward to your images from the park.
Thanks Perry. 👍
This is an interesting company. I've never heard of them until your video on their rotator. I think I'll go explore their website now, lol!
Cool! Thank you for watching and taking time to comment. Much appreciated. 👍 Looks like I'll receive my WandererBox around March 15th. ~ Bill
He asked me if this device can be operated from the PC even though it has a cable connection installed.
Not sure what you are asking / stating. Can you clarify?
Hello everyone. I have my doubts about this brand. I purchased the WandererBox lite V3 mini, downloaded the Wanderer Espire and the CH341SER driver, the problem is when connecting to the PC, it does not recognize
Interesting. Thank you for the feedback. I've not had any issues yet but who knows.
Thanks for another interesting video Bill. I'm a bit confused though. I run the Pocket Power Box Advance. It has 2 x USB3 and 2 x USB2. My camera is connected to one USB3 and the EFR and guide camera to the main camera's USB2 hub. The AF is in one of the Pegasus's USB2 sockets and my mount into the remaining USB3. That leaves a spare USB2 which would be perfect for a rotator. The Pegasus also powers the mount and dew heater. Just one USB 3 cable connects the pegasus to my NUC which isn't on the telescope plus a 12v power supply cable. Am I missing something, the Pegasus should cope with all of your USB needs?
Do you have the PPBA Gen 2? The older version of the Pegasus Astro Pocket Powerbox Advance Gen 1, which I have, only has three out of four USB ports that are compatible with USB2 devices. I've not been able to run my filter wheel and guide camera through the ASI294MM camera hub and see those devices when I plug my camera in to the lone USB 3.0 port on the PPBA.
No I have the original Gen 1. As long as I connect the camera to the USB 3 out it powers my EFW and guide cam. Everything else seems happy on USB 2 although in theory you can get USB 3 throughput on the other USB sockets.

The Wanderer looks really good but at a price!
@astronook If I connect the camera (2600mc) to the USB3-only port on my PBBAv1 then the USB2 hub on the camera does not work (the camera itself works). So this port is useless to me. Thus this leaves me with just 3 useable ports.
