Hi there. Been watching some of your at times. We have a new Santa Fé and lost our caravan electrics when leaving a site recently. Holidaying with friends we hooked up our caravan to his car which showed the car to be at fault rather than the caravan lights. On investigation the car had been fitted with two 10 amp fuses rather than two 15 amp fuses.Fuses changed and problem solved. This had happened whilst owing using the Avtex Tourer sat nav and the refrigerator on auto for the first time. Don’t know if any of that info may help you. Kind regards Amanda.

I’m with caravan guard for insurance.
Saga was one of two I contacted in March this year to get a quote for my new caravan.
Wouldn’t insure it due to the value of it another was the same..and the company we were with and eight months into a twelve month policy we had to get new insurance as the original company wouldn’t amend and insure again due to the value. All three only insured up to 30k.
Not sure if anyone else has come across the same situation

We tried Caravanguard but they seemed expensive but highly rated. Seems caravans are becoming harder to insure. Nice to meet you too. Was a fun weekend.
A micro switch and two contact strips any indication where that is exactly?
not 100% sure 😀 searched on internet and seen a picture of the micro switch. A faulty one can causing clicking and pulsing.
