      @@josighahplays2161 the treble winning team was at the same situation last season as they are at the moment this season. By your logic, a treble should be followed by another treble to be considered as a successful season? • @josighahplays2161
      @josighahplays2161 Před 2 měsíci +2

      @@AshirwadSarmah it's 1 leg of the cl, Arsenal can easily turn it around against Porto, Arsenal also don't have the quality depth in all positions as city do and it's Artetas first managerial job. Man City are the favorites of every competition they are in so yes they should be top of the prem at this point, they have also looking diabolical defensively lately and the only reason they have gotten away with it is poor finishing from opposing teams. City's defense is so vulnerable whereas Arsenal have a solid back-line and are now backing it up with finishing the chances they weren't earlier this season, which was the only real problem. When u look at the goals of each team Arteta is much more on track than Pep is at this point, plus Pep against the top 6 teams this season has been absolutely shocking, they've barely won a game.

    1. Klopp - in a final and top of the league despite just having his worst season, losing the entire midfield (and captain) and dealing with multiple injuries to key players
    2. Alonso - still invincible
    3. Ancelloti

    6. Guardiola - impossible to deny he's not been at his best

And even the injuries point can be said for City as well, KDB, Stones, Haaland, Doku, Grealish, Kovacic, Gvardiol have all missed at least a month with injuries… so how is the difference between Klopp and Guardiola that big

      Definitely the best list I've seen, though IMO Eric Roy has to be there 100%, arguably in top 5. Brest is a lower midtable/relegation level team, they didn't even stumble across young players who exploded or huge signings (like Michel has with the likes of Savio, or Amorim with Gyokeres, or Hoeness with strikers and bunch of others at Stuttgart, though he's doing a great job too), they're just playing that well.

    • @granth1238
      @granth1238 Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@0M0rty yes definitely an argument there, hes doing great things at Brest, as are some of the other names I mentioned at the top. I think I just favoured likes of Amorim and Bosz over Motta, Roy etc is due to competing on all front, not just in the league.
      Michel is there because they have likes of Blind, Gazzinaga, Juanpe, Garcia, Martin and Stuani that were all rejects elsewhere, nobody wanted them, most free or cheap transfers, most over 32 years old. Savio was playing in Ligue 2, Guttierez let go by Real, Dobvyk cost 9mill and came from Ukraine League. To be competing with likes of Real, Barca etc and their spending power.

    1. Pep - no debate about it and his system is almost like an enigma at this point.
    2. Don Carlo - Eyebrow raise aside, him and real madrid just go hand in hand
    3. Xabi Alonso - Maybe I'm rating him too highly, but his tactics is almost genius (overload in every position because the two wingbacks become defenders, midfielders, and attack. Can't really find a weakness here. Also brought a relegation threatened neverkusen to a neverlosing team.
    4. Klopp - Prime Klopp is still a legend, but he looks like he's run out of ideas at this point. Still a formidable manager, but the team needs a rebuild.
    5. Arteta - People can say he's not original, but he is to an extent. He's someone who takes attention to little bits of details and those details add up to massive things. For example, the way Saka receives the ball to open up the pitch inwards instead of traditionally on the wide.
    6. Inzaghi - Never though I'd picture Inzaghi being here, but he's an extremely underrated manager. similar playing style to conte's inter, but inzaghi's inter just seems more secure.
    7. Postecoglu - If it wasn't for injuries, who knows what could have been for them this season. I honestly predicted them outside top 8, but this team could go somewhere next season if they support him. wingbacks to attacking inverted midfielders is just crazy and it sounds so stupid, but when spurs play their system right, it's just so easy on the eye. Risky, but again, fun to watch
    8. Emery - Let his work not be underrated. Villa were in a relegation battle before he came. Competing for UCL spot while in European competition. We know what he does on a good cup run, but his tactics tend to backfire from time to time when the 3-5-2 becomes a 5-3-2 and villa just sit back. A very tricky manager
    9. Michel - Girona aren't first anymore and they probably won't win the league this season, but the goalkeeper as centerback is just crazy but also it kind of shows how one crazy idea can lead a relegation team to the top. But this story is one of what could've been an it could've been the biggest achievement since Leicester won the title.
    10. Simeone - Not the best season, but for me, he's top ten. Atleti have been an on and off team this season, but counter attacking atleti is a scary one still. Poch is not even in my top 15 managers list. He barely makes top 25 for me.

    On top of that he is bringing in youngsters and still winning games still on top of the table, certainly in the most competitive title race we've seen in years.
