I thought of giving a little brief about brakes in a plane. Plane works with 4 types of brake. 1) flaps 2) slats 3) Reverse thrust 4) pedal brakes. 1 and 2 is deployed before the plane touch the ground. It reduces speed. 3 is deployed immediately the wheels touch the ground. It is the most effective braking system. Finally the pedal brakes.
