The Pro secret to this job is putting down a layer of Sodium Hypochlorite after you've done the initial clean. Leave it to dwell for 15-30 mins and then spray it off. It eats up all the blackspot and various other rubbish on the stone and adds a whole new level of clean. 5L on Amazon is about £15 and you can dilute it about 1:3 and it still works well. Good vid, thanks.
Thanks Leon, I'll give it a try when I clean the drive 👍
Wow, what a transformation 👏
Thanks John 🙂
Thank you excellent video, very informative.
Thanks Deanne 👍
👍👍👍. Thank you
Thanks Pete 🙂
The Karcher transparent"splash guard" is what you need, as it means you can use the dirtblaster lance and spray down without changing lances plus you don't get the dirty windows that way.... Plus plus you can use it on the top of your wall too without splash back 🤷🏻♂️
I bought one a couple of weeks ago on your recommendation but haven't had time to try it out yet. I've still got the drive to clean so I will give it a go then.
@@bigtedshomeIol, I bought the Bilt Hamber you recommended too and also haven't got round to using it because it's rained on all my days off so far! 😂

Hi, what a great video.
I noticed that after sanding, you didn't seal the pavers. Some say if you don't seal then weeds grow quite quickly. Please advise.
Thnx
I don't seal the paving after sanding because I don't think that the extra cost is justified. Weedkiller is cheaper than sealant 🙂
Just did this last saturday in my driveway :D used the cleaner, but the wihte lichen didnt come off so easy, any tips ? nice video series about the Kärcher ;)
The dirtblaster lance should get rid of the lichen easily enough and won't make too much mess now that you have cleaned off most of the grime. For next time, I would look at using a chemical pretreatment before pressure washing. I've still got my drive to clean so intend to try a few different options on there. There's loads of white lichen on the drive so it should be a good test.
Can you use the karcher liquid you’ve shown in the video on the block paving or do they do one for block paving
Yes, you can use the Karcher stone cleaner on block paving.
@@bigtedshome perfect thankyou mate appreciate the reply how long roughly would you leave it to set
@@KaiHavern Just leave it for a few minutes to break down the grime
I’ve just pressure washed my driveway and I’ve decided I’m not gonna re sand it. Imo it just gives the weeds & seeds somewhere to settle & start growing back quicker.
The weeds will be back soon anyway 🙂
Just be careful as the blocks will start moving out of place without resanding
You really need to re-sand as it’s the sand particles that lock the blocks in place. They will start to move if you do not re-sand.
So just brush it back in ?
@@CobraaProductionss Yes - buy kiln dried sand and brush it back in between the blocks.
Don’t you recommend a sealer after sanding.
Personally, I don't use a sealer as I don't think that the expense is justified.
