I carried twins at 24 and it was so incredibly hard. I lost all my lower ab muscles to the point that I couldn't even bend my legs up to my tummy while laying down. I had to move my legs with my hands as though I was paralyzed. So kudos to her for do that at 40. I'm 39 now and I can only imagine how much harder it would be now!
The different is with Mariah and you that she had more helps she didn't had to left anything during those times

You sound like you're a really strong and wise woman, power and love to you sis ❤ I am a married woman and so far I've been so happy, but I did have a sad childhood and was unwanted and hurt as a child and can totally relate to the feeling of shutting down and not wanna love or be close to people in fear of being hurt. I learned to guard my heart and not expect anything because I never fully got that growing up and I had to learn to be strong to survive. You could say you become a fighter and survivor after that.

Yes exactly. My 2 pregnancies for me was extremely difficult. I had the worst time being pregnant. I never had that glow. I spent it being miserable. Morning sickness the entire pregnancy, pain, breathing difficulty at times, (I have asthma), and having a hard time sleeping, moving, and yes I was scared I would go into early labour, I managed to make it a week before the due date. The best part for me was pushing the babies out and having them. I hated being pregnant. I totally understand Mariah.

The eyes of the twins - they're like baby doll eyes; perfectly round. Babies are so amazing. They were one of those couples where I didn't care if they lasted, but hoped that whatever or whenever the end was, they came through happy.
You can tell that the little girl had problems with her eyes, though. They looked bleary and dim and like she was trying to focus, poor baby.

I knew my wife for 4 weeks when I proposed to her. It’s been over 17 years now. The hardest thing is that we both wanted children... it’s taken us this long to save for IVF. We’ve spent more money on fertility than we make in a year together. We are both healthy (as far as fertility goes) and don’t have a single reason why we haven’t had a child yet. All while family on both side pop kids out like a Pez dispenser while we’re the awkward outsiders because “we don’t know what it’s like to have to care for children 24/7” I wish I knew how the Octa-mom afforded to do all her fertility stuff. Just our luck I guess...

All that happened in the last month. See, we got the news that we are having that first child!!!!! A boy!! So I left almost everything in a storage unit and moved into a camping trailer in my in-laws driveway just so my wife can be near her mother and family. It’s been rocky so far here with what we expected when discussing this living arrangement, and without a car.... that we where supposed to have access of until we got our own.... the move...eh, not fun, but in May 2021 we have our son.

Aww I'm rewatching this even though this interview is super old. I love watching Mariah and Nick so in love because I truly believe they loved each other. I was sad when they divorced, but apparently nick hurt Mariah and we don't know the details but it must have been bad. I always thought they would get back together. However, Mariah is happy in a relationship and Nick is just a mess. He has a dozen children with a dozen different women. I'm SO SERIOUS. I'm afraid to Google it at this point but after their divorce, Nick had 8 children with different women (he's expecting his 8th kid). That means he had 6 more children after having Roc and Roe (the twins). Nick is trying to fill a void. He needs therapy bc going around and having children and creating broken homes is not helping. So although I ONCE wanted Mariah and Nick to get back together, I now hope they don't. Mariah deserves better. Nick has deep issues and he also has a lot of kids to take care of. It's a sad situation because they could have lasted. They could have been forever. 💜 That being said, nick needs to be responsible for those kids and I hope he seeks help. And I hope Mariah is happy too.

I absolutely loved when these two married. I had loved them both, Mariah for her angelic singing voice, and I loved Nick from first time seeing him, in Drumline, he was phenomenal. But gosh durn it I sure didn't like when they broke up. But that's the way it goes sometimes.
Their twins are so precious and beautiful, and I loved seeing Mariah singing to the baby boy, Roc, and his eyes were GLUED on her, lol. He know his mommy.
I just want to thank them for sharing this with us, and seeing their beautiful babies.

Big deal to have a baby at 40 ... My mom had me at 45 and a lot of women have had kids in their late thirties and in their forties. She is a woman and it's natural! I am happy for her!

When Mariah first came out I thought she looked a lot like my sister. Seeing the baby pic at the end looks like my sister, lol. Good interview. Mariah is a blunt realist,lol. I like her personality. Nick seems cool,I like he will be making sur the kids get a good education. To bad they had their differences and are not together anymore.
I still hoped they made it but Mariah Carey is MARIAH CAREY and she needs someone on her level to really understand her which is difficult since there’s no one on her level...I do agree with nick and the education though
Also it’s always so sad to hear about how difficult her pregnancy was and especially about the miscarriage...you can literally see the pain she carried
