- Al Pacino was about to earn the Best Actor Oscar for "Scent of Woman," Jerry Seinfeld's TV show was just gaining in popularity, and Clint Eastwood was on the verge of receiving two Academy Awards (Best Picture and Best Director) for "Unforgiven," as they sat down to be interviewed in this Barbara Walters Special from November 1992. Also includes March 1993 Academy Award Recap from Entertainment Tonight.
I met Al in 1984 in his dressing room after a Broadway performance in American Buffalo. He was quiet, humble and gracious. As I left I felt a hand on my back, and when I turned it was him. ❤

This is the only one I have. I recorded it on VHS over 30 years ago because these guys are all among my favorites. I actually met Pacino in 2015 and he's very much the same person as he is in this interview. Nice guy

Barbara Walter was a great reporter, every interview she did was excellent. Now days most of them ask dumb questions and have no class at all. She has a great style and class.
