Ashley, the first girl, has an amazing voice! I got chills when she sang and straight up cried when she sang the original. The original got me close because I relate to it, but sadly my dad passed away. But I will always be his little girl

Yes, I've always hated it when the entire audience, driven along by each other, think they know better than the professionals and start booing and throwing their hands about. The result usually proves his effectiveness (especially the first one here!) but the crowd never learns and of course it's impossible for "them" to apologize afterwards!
I really love when Simon does this. That means that HE believes you can make it, and as Sofia said, he’s usually right when he says to try another song.

Kudos to Simon to keep it cool and collected to send a cocky uptight wedding singer guy back and still direct him, slow his tempo down enough to yank out the quality he was capable of. Simon made his point.
Yes. And that guy suddenly realized he was being coached, not rejected. Kudos to him for backing down and doing what he was told.
@@SaravanjaSteele I don't think he suddenly realized he was being coached. He was so resistant to those who were trying to help him back stage. He also had two choices, walk away or comeback for a second chance. The singer did get an instant lesson on ego management though. Either take direction or go away looking stupid. You could almost taste his inner battle to do stay to do it Simon's way or to walk away. He even did the shallow thing go over Simon head and speak to the audience. None of the other judges liked that behavior and many in the audience did not appreciate that cocky attitude. He nearly lost the entire if not for Simon's firmness and grace.

What might it take to get CZcams to provide translation services for non-American English languages they post here in the US especially for the languages that are printed upside down and maybe backwards, I for one 1⃣ wonder why translation into whatever is the language of the country they're posting messages in is such a hard concept for a internet type site to think 🤔 of and I'd bet money 💵 I'm not the only one who's wondering why an entity the size of CZcams doesn't show any more care or concern about providing at least a little bit of customer service except that they think they don't need to worry about such trivial things

You know, everybody is so dismayed when Simon calls a performance to a screeching halt to make adjustments or call for a different song.
But let’s take a moment here to recognize that he is never wrong about this. That man knows how to get a stellar performance out of a fairly good performer. The best thing that can happen to a performer is for Simon Cowell to Call the performance to stop, to suggest an adjustment. The people for whom he does that service, turn out to be absolute winners.
I was just going to comment about that very same thing. Simon is the very best at getting the most out of talent, and, let's face it, he can be brutally honest in his cretiques! He is a proven producer. I have liked him, and his honesty, from the very beginning. I don't care what the audience says, or the other judges, Simon is an honest judge! If you care about music and the presentation of that music, listen to Simon.

I like that Simon is honest. Sometimes that's uncomfortable, but personally? I got straight A's in school but I was disappointed because I knew there was room for improvement and I didn't have any direction to go with it! He gives them direction, and a second chance, wherever he sees potential! Gotta love that!
