Personally I use a Maschine Mk2 and the Z1 controllers most often. I like the Z1 because it works as an external sound card which is much cleaner than most internal cards. Powering it can be a bit tricky in some locations though...

I am using mac OS X 10.10 yosemite
traktor software : traktor scratch pro ver 2.1.2 (R12125)
I have the following controller :
- Traktor kontrol Z1
- Traktor kontrol X1 MK2
I have problem to connect it to my software.
my friend inform me to find the mapping for both tractor control.
can you help me with this issue ?
I need the basic mapping only please.

Hey guy, great video. I have 2 questions:
1) Do any of these controllers need to be connected to an audio interface? Or do they have already an audio interface built in?
2)If you connect and use these 3 controllers with a MacAir, is it gonna make the software crash? Or is it reliable to use in long gigs?

The Z1 has an inbuilt 2 channel audiointerface.
The controllers are made to work together. But whst I think about is, how to use 4 decks with a 2 channel mixer. I read some posts about custom mappings for the z1 but this seems to be a not well working workaround.

Do you have to use a z2 along with f1 or i s the f1 able to be used without it
By standard, the F1 can't be used solely on its own with Traktor to mix properly. However, someone has come up with a way to map it so you can use it on its own.

can i hook up portable turntables to these to have a portable set to travel light??
DJ Serve 1 They all only work with Traktor (or similar program in Midi mode), so not stand alone. Z1 (mixer) does not have inputs (only USB for Traktor connection and audio outputs). So: you can link them to turntables, but only if the turntables are linked to Traktor (or similar) as well.
Are there cue or play buttons on the one on the middle ?

You can possibly map them but in my MIND, Traktor is nicer and much cleaner than Serato
still can't daisy chain them. how stupid. I'll stick to my Xone K2
