The Reloop MIXTOUR is a compact 2-channel controller and audio interface, meant for use with Algoriddim's Djay software. It's compatible with Mac OS, Android, and iOS, and gives you access to all of the basic mixing and transport functions of the software. (Mappings are also available for Virtual DJ, Traktor, etc.)
The MIXTOUR contains a 3-band EQ, color-coded transport and Hot Cue controls, a bipolar lowpass/highpass filter with Macro FX, an easy-to-use navigation section, and onboard metering.
In this video, I give my thoughts on this sturdy and portable piece of gear.

    Frequently Asked Questions:
    Where are the pitch controls?
On this particular unit, there aren't any dedicated pitch controls, including nudging or bending. However, these functions are easily accessible on a tablet, for those who are using this with Android or iOS.
Do I need to buy anything to connect to my iPad/iPhone/Android?
The MIXTOUR comes with the connections and cables needed, no matter what platform you're connecting to.
How do Hot Cues work on the MIXTOUR?
Above the transport controls, there are buttons which say "T" (for Transport?) and "C" (for Cues?). Use this to switch to Hot Cue mode. The buttons will illuminate, to show which cue points you've set in the loaded track.

Thanks a lot for the detailed review, it was really helpful hearing the pros/cons from a DJ used to a full Pioneer Nexus setup. Much appreciated!

Hi Great video! thanks for makign it! I have a Q: Have you managed to use it with full functionality and charging with a NEW Ipad pro (USB C to the mini 8 Din pin port on Reloop Mixtour?)

Hi, i really think to buy one (PC+2 screens+keyboard+mouse+stand it's too heavy for me now) associated with an android Tablet,i know there no key lock tempo actually but 2 questions remain : is the Mixtour charge the android tablet with is own power supply? and I see in the video a light demo mode how did you do that with the mixtour ? Thanks and great video even for a non-english listener ;) regards

Thanks for the video. I'm assuming there's no tempo control or track search functions? Also...how do the buttons feel? Are they rubbery feeling? Or are they plastic with annoying click noises? Thanks again

      No problem!
That's right, there's no real pitch adjustment or "seeking" from the controller itself. I actually prefer using it with a tablet instead of laptop... at least I have a touch screen for those couple of things that are missing.
The buttons vary: the track "load" buttons are pretty clicky (which I don't mind), but the buttons up top are slightly less so. You definitely know that you're engaging them, but I didn't find them annoying.
I comment directly on the feel and noise from the buttons, and all the other knobs/sliders, in my unboxing video:

Check ~8:20 for the relevant part.
      Hope that helps!

What do you mean by 'track search functions'?
      1) You can use the large Track Selector knob for browsing through your libraries, playlists and tracks, and use the Back button to jump back to a higher level in your librarie/playlists.
      2) In combination with pressing and holding the 'T' button (Transport) on the top of the Mixtour (left and right), with the Track Selector knob you can 'scrubb' through your left or right track to move and search while listening to the track.
