- Jim's JETV6 has been close to an 8-second pass for a little while now. We caught up with Jim at the track after running his first 8-second pass. The Holden Commodore is powered by a stroker V6 Ecotec engine and still runs the factory IRS rear end, driven to and from the track.

You try getting around a round about in a maloo when its wet. Cant even leave the traffic lights without spinning up or crawling into 2nd gear.

If it looked more stock without the incredibly visible intercooler and fat tires this would of been the most convincing sleeper
The fat tyres are most likely for the drags, and there will be people who don't see the intercooler...

Nice job, bro.. I got myself a 3.8 Ecotec bored out to a 4.2 in my VY... Crow cam, high-ratio rockers, cold-air intake, 69 mm throttle body and a few other simple mods... You've given me some nice ideas on where to take it.. If I ever get the cash-flow to manage it hahaha

@@azza9575 have to clearance the block for the stroker crank. Will definitely have a girdle installed to keep the bearings in line as well

Put the running gear in a VN VP, about 200kg lighter
About 350Kg less actually. They are just a fraction over 1300Kg for the V6 models.
The VT...... My heartstrings have me reminiscing. That looks like a mongrel with those wheels and tyres, times doe it justice.

Engine setup with a custom built T56, adjustable rear suspension, properly tuned suspension for track use and road driving. And that's how I would set it up

So basically it is a 3800 like we got here in the grand prix and 4th gen camaros, only fully worked. We have a few places that build those in America.

These 3800 Series V6 engines sound like a wimpy version of the GT-R's VR38DETT. I can't help, but notice this...
