this is also the first video using ifacialmocap for my vtuber avatar face tracking, rather than the default vseeface Webcam tracking

Thanks. Yeah, that seems to be an issue I keep having when I render from davinci resolve. I'll try to experiment with the export settings to see if I can get a better result. Thanks

So far this is the only review I found which showcased how the updated default MitsukiYuki mode change voicelines sounds like (there's already a video that lets you hear how she sounds in Nekocake); I was looking at the Space Travel and SoundPEATS Free2 Classic, and as I'm the target audience, MitsukiYuki won me over.

I actually like the idea of using these effects on voice commands instead of a dead 'anc on' 'transparency' etc
It would give the product a certain character

I guess so. I was thinking it's a little silly that you'd need to read the instructions to know what sound means what... but then again, there are others that just have a beep or sound, and you'd have to do the same thing

Nice review, I bought these after gizaudios review I agree with everything you said. I've personally turned off the touch control I don't care about the features. I only use them for home workouts so I don't need anc. For sounds quality though these are insanely good for the price.

hmm I saw a video about these a while back but I did not realize they were this exposed. Good job and please continue highlighting such observations and clearly showing them in future videos

Thanks. Yeah, they really are more exposed than you'd expect. When I first saw promotional images, I assumed there was some extra cover that wasn't as obvious to notice. But they really are that exposed

Obviously made to appeal to a "certain " crowd.
    Says the Audiophile Vtuber :D

Sometimes, I forget my Airpods Pro2 at home, and then I don't have a bluetooth solution for calls. I have the Apple Dongle, Koss Porta Pros, and a couple of iems, so I can listen to music, but none of those have cables with mics (nor do I want one, as I had one with a CCA CRA, and taking a call on it was deafening), so these might be an inexpensive solution to that. Just charge them up a bit, and voila! Thanks for the review!

Thanks. They'd work well for that. Cheap enough that they're good to have as a backup, but still decent enough that you don't feel like you're compromising too much

Bought the optional case and would 100% recommend! my JBL Live 300tws broke down and when switching to the space travel i'm only missing the volume control feature. The sound quality didn't drop so much that i would notice it without having my old buds for comparison (space travel sounds great! you can hear the difference only when comparing to wireless iem's that cost triple or more). Sure i can't destroy my ears with bass like with my JBL buds but space travel has plenty of bass without going overboard. Keeping in mind the price drop was from around 150€ to 35€

I wonder, would you recommend to buy the case and put the TWS shell upside down? The USB C port would then not be exposed and it would then become even harder to drop the buds out of the case.

This will be perfect for me if somehow i can test to use it while sleeping and wonder if it's comfortable enough and not gone missing when i woke up.

I think they’ll fall out more because of the stem could be wrong though

This was a great review. I’m planning on buying the moondrop space travel but I was wondering if I can pair them with pc? I know that they work on both android & apple because of the app but I couldn’t find any info for pc on any other reviews.

    • @sidesaladaudio
      @sidesaladaudio  Před 8 měsíci +2

Yes you can pair them with a pc, and the different modes work as well. Thats how i was able to measure them. but the app to change the EQ isn't available on pc... but you could use a separate, more powerful EQ software on pc anyway

@@sidesaladaudioThank you so much. I recently started looking into iems and wanted a wireless upgrade to replace my moondrop quarks (non dsp).

if you plan on gaming with these there is a gaming mode that can be activated by tapping 4 times. Reduces latency by a ton. Also yes works great with pc!

The bass is really boomy and annoying. I have IEMs with frequency responses which measure more bass, but sound much more controlled than these. I don't think that measuring with a test tone reveals what is going on when music is played through these earphones

Unfortunately I can't find any way to do that. The moondrop app is very limited right now
