The winner was Alan Tenta, second was James "Wyatt" Black, and third was Micheal "Mikey" Helton. They discuss what motivated them to sign up for the challenge, and how the show changed them once it was done - and lots of b roll chit chat. This one is a pure "whisky chat."

This season was great because of the different people they brought on but all of whom seem like really cool and down to earth, it was so hard choosing who I wanted to win between these 3 and it really made it a great season

Outstanding conversation. Coming from a military background and going through real suffering (Ranger School and War) builds comradery and friendships for life and it showed in this video. Really great and thank you for opening up and sharing your story's.
I was smiling all the way through the video, so many diffrent experiences and feeling's with these three and their reason's to be on the show, I wish Mikey all the best for his son . This one one awesome chat. loved it.

Hardcore fan , first year I couldn’t pick a favorite to win. What a great season , cried like a baby.
After watching ALONE, in fact most of the Seasons, I've found it surprising that few contestants realize that food is the most important chore they must tackle before everything else. If you don't eat and eat well, you won't have the energy to do anything else. Shelter is important but you must devote most of your time finding nutritional food and that's usually fish. My very favorite season was Season One and Alan Kay was and is my favorite contestant. What he had in abundance besides his ingenuity, hard work, creativity, knowledge, and ambition was humor. He never complained. It was truly a joy watching him win ALONE.
It’s because it’s difficult, it’s not guaranteed, you can fish all day or hunt all day and find nothing of substance but your shelter being built is guaranteed not to waste your time
Great episode - Total darkness. I had a malfunctioned headlamp and until my night vision kicked in it was freak. Even with the night vision its hard to get your bearings and easy to get injured. :)

Great Whisky Fireside Chat Kevin! I watched Season 10 of Alone and really enjoyed it! Would have been happy to have seen any of these three guys win! They all did an amazing job!
A question I would have asked is "How much did alcohol withdrawal affect you? And " Did you taper off beforehand?"
Honestly him saying he has a drinking problem but seeing him drink here is a bit awkward so I think they’re intentionally not bringing that up

Mikey reminds me of Ray Childress who played at Texas A&M and for the Houston Oilers. Sounds exactly like him.
