Fantastic job 😊😊😊

If you have a broadfork, it might be worthwhile to use it to loosen the clay soil in the swale to aid infiltration.
I have found that creating the right environment (heavy mulch and tillage radish in this case) is very effective and that, in the long run, not disturbing the soil is a better option. Just my opinion though.
@@thehomesteadconsultant I wouldn't suggest it as annual task, but a one broadforking, which doesn't up end or alter the soil profile could give you a jumpstart especially if you have a claypan. Raking sand or compost into the tine holes could help with soil infiltration in many soil conditions. Tillage radishes will also do this but may take reseeding them for several seasons to get down to 16 to 18 inches. Think of it like Yeoman's Keyline Plowing.
Thanks for your video. Just a quick comment, as far as I know, wood ash increases pH, since it has an alkaline pH >10. I guess that's what you meant since you have an acidic soil and want to increase pH with wood ash. Correct me if I'm wrong. Take care.
You are correct. I miss spoke/miss typed :(
It would benefit you to ask for support from your followers. By watching the new playlist that you made called all ..... videos!!!
Good call, it's hard to remember to ask when I'm out making the video.
