He was gone since 2009 and came back in 2023 for 1 line and appear in some scenes of the movie where he is hard to spot also. Hopeful he return in beyond the spider verse with a bigger role because this was way to small or season 3.
The part where Peter tells Billy that his dad will always care for him and Billy asks "Even if he turns into a monster?" hits hard after in the comics Billy tries to get his dad to fight The Lizard persona, for the latter to dominate Dr. Connors and then he proceeds to eat Billy alive. That was horrendous in so many levels and it was a gut punch.

For me, the best adaptation of Spiderman maybe along with Spiderman ps4, had the best villains, best Spidey, best Peter Parker, best theme song, best animation style - the epitome of all Spiderman TV shows and movies - the only thing it was missing was season 3 💔
