The writers on this show really hit the tone and the actors timing on the jokes and the delivery especially of the Dan Fielding character were amazing. They don't make them like this anymore, I love this show!

The new Night Court just doesn't have the same magic that the original one had. Plus with today's society so screwed up they basically had to neuter Dan losing a lot of it's magic
I agree it’s not as good but they did it right when it comes to Dan. Having a man in his 70s behave the same way he did 30-40 years ago would just be embarrassing.

No she didn't set him up , according to the storyline they had a new hire that mixed up the samples , but she was willing to relieve the pressure for him knowing that he is DAN FIELDING .

This was one of the funniest series ever put out. Can't do it today; too many crybaby leftoids, It's racist, it's sexist, it's homophobic. Jesus, what has happen to MY AMERICA?
You do know this show is on tv now, right? I’m not talking the reboot, but this actual series. You can watch it every day. The episodes are in order and everything. No editing, no deleted scenes. If you’re a fan of Night Court, hit up your local tv listings and I bet you can find this in a tv near you!
