People fail to remember that the original Night Court had the most hookers seen on a sitcom ever. And in general it was full of sleazy people who got arrested and had some edge to the humor. One major problem with the new series is they pretty much have none of that and are trying to be too cute and family friendly. One other problem is it’s simply not funny. I don’t get how it’s about to start season 3!

Different personalities entirely. Ginger as it were is less glamorous and more abrasive and independent, she seems likely to have been at heads with the Skipper a lot though she may have listened to the Professors explanations. She seems to dislike Gilligan and sees him as just a problem. Bunny is a lot sweeter and they have kind of a good cop bad cop thing going on. This would have really changed the show. They also seemed to have later backed off the idea that it was Gilligans fault they were all shipwrecked, and made it more vague and due to the storm. This got rid of the idea they were all resenting him for being there, which would have added a lot more tension and instead just made it entertaining. I think the people they went with really worked well off each other and had a lot of appeal, they made the right decision with the changes.

Can I just tell you this? You just had Seth MacFarlane and the Family Guy animation crew members who have infringed on the original Night Court cast and crew members rights. There was a special Night Court episode, even though it looks and sounds really silly, depicts the municipal court judge who tells Wile E. Coyote to go to a restaurant if he was hungry. When he was telling him to stop chasing after the Road Runner. There was one cartoon episode Seth MacFarlane had created that has depicted Wile E. Coyote who couldn't stay focused on being the restaurant butler, right after he finally killed the Road Runner. It was definitely offensive.

I know long shot but the new Night Court needs his son, Dan is like wait why does that name sound so hold up you are the son.
