Texas wildfires will take years to recover from in cattle numbers and ranchers - Bill Martin

Bill Martin has spent most of his career around livestock. The last three are part of a leap of faith from Colorado back to his native Texas with college friends to operate Lonestar Stockyards outside of Amarillo, Texas. The Panhandle is known for being cattle country so when wildfires swept through in late February the damage was instant and scarred more than the earth. Martin has optimism in what he’s seen so far in the first few days of rebuilding.
