I bought this bike in Nov. month. I would like draw ur kind attention towards Mode changing switch which this bike has. You won't believe but the switch started to malfunction within 4-5 days, after I bought this bike. I also came across 2 other bikers facing the same problem. Seriously not kidding. Even my service center guy had informed me that unko bhi complaints aaya hai. Being you as CZcams Vlogger, I humbly request you if u cud bring to TVS's attention about the same.🙂 Since the issue, I hv been taking regular follow up of the same, service center guys r saying Spare parts ka issue chal rha hai. Company ki taraf se delay ho rha hai. They changed their vendor all over India and didn't even bothered to inform Dealers abt the same. The new vendor is unable to procure the delivery of spare parts.
Me and my brother have each bought an rtr 200 4v about a month ago, I have been facing a lot of heating issues with the engine, so much so that I can feel the heat on my right leg while riding....i asked the showroom dealer whether they was any issue with the oil or insufficient amount of oil he said that the bike comes with oil which is preloaded during production and that the showroom people never add or remove anything.....Some rough edges of production are still visible like improper welds, fit n finish and overall plastic of the body is okay not the best, the bike looks absolutely stunning from a distance but as you get closer you get to see those rough edges...so far I've gotten my first servicing done where in they changed the engine oil and lubed the chain....the heating issue is reduced a little but still persists and I don't even rev the engine too hard, it's the same issue with my brother's rtr as well... It's a fun to ride bike though. Braking is decent, I do feel vibrations on the brake pedal, also once I had to suddenly apply brakes when i was on about 40-50kmph and i noticed the bike's rear end skidding to the right...Now I am not too sure if that's due to ABS or something, but it was scary and I have to test it out more... Over-all it's a fun, budget friendly bike which offers a lot of value for your money, but it's in no way a perfect bike as many reviewers on CZcams constantly keep saying.... There are a lot of issues that come up once you start riding and get accustomed to the bike but this can be said about every bike though...I would strongly advice not to blindly buy this bike like i did but always first test ride 2-3 bikes in this segment and then choose....Be cautious as to where you spend your hard earned money...
Heating issue is there with my 200 rtr 2021 bs6 variant but when I closing checked where the problem faces ...If we go with 4 th gear for so long there you can expect engine heating and it absorbs the side plastic shield in-between your thighs you can feel the heat congested traffic is the reason we will drag the machine on 1 st 2nd 3rd and 4 th and results in engine overheating to reduce the heating TVs has already mounted a radiator up front....So heating is real here we need to be intelligent try to avoid dragging the machine..This machine is not made for low class roads of india and highly populated country with everyone owns vehicles and don't even obey the rules created congestion on roads .... Imagine this machine in Europe or America it will run smoothly without heating issues.....
Apache RTR 200 is the most value for money motorcycle. The only thing that I'm still not convinced is the front look, particularly on exposed instrument cluster. I always prefer a bike with big head, instrument cluster covered around with windshield. It gives a masculine look. This one is a weird design. When you sit on a bike, there's nothing front of the bike, just an instrument console protruded on the top. Even if I buy this, I would do some juggad to attach a windshield to it. I'm just waiting if TVS will give it as stock in future updates.

It makes a lot of sense for beginners. The idea is to keep it in urban mode for few weeks. Get used to the calm power band. Then switch to sport once your comfortable with the bike. The extra power should definitely make u happy

Guys please Dont buy TVS Bikes especially apache 200 4v Because i have the same bike it and after 15,000 KM done i am facing the problem of replacement of carbrator, full wiring kit due to short circuit it seems and engine oil leaks from the engine packing and gear lever. Coming to the speedometer it doesnt display the proper grear , petrol level. Totally it waste of scrap. Dont Waste your money guys.

For now install a regular clutch lever or there are other adjustable levers available in the market.
