From my experience I can't call Sivga Robin anything near neutral. It reminded me of Meze 99 Classics but with even bigger midrange dip and the midbass bleeds into the mids. Too muddy or "warm" for me.
Warm generally refers to boosted. Are you using warm to describe mid-bass boost?

I appreciate the value proposition. I will say though that there are differences in dacs. The dCS Bartok or an msb sound remarkably different from the topping or smsl dacs. The difference is easier to hear on speakers as I find it to be mainly with sound stage and imaging.
Have you done blind testing?
@@quantum.9883 yes I have with a group. We tested Bartok, chord Dave, chord tt2 both with and without mscaler, MSB premire, and AK sp1000.

@@quantum.9883 I am just lucky that a friend owned the msb and Dave and I still had my tt2 and Bartok. I used to have a metrum onyx that I really like too though.

Nedd a replace to my iFi Zen Dac, i´m I'm torn between Sabaj D5 vs Topping EX5. Headphones - Hifiman HE-5XX, Fostex Dekoni Blue, Hifiman 400SE, Sennheiser hd560s
They’re both good products. If you want BT, then the EX5 clearly has the edge. If you don’t care about BT, then either is a good option.
Been a fan of yours since the Hart Audio Cables interview. I use those cables for everything now. I'm curious if you'd be willing to do a review on the Audio Technica ATH-M40X? They've been my main headphones for a few years now. I bought them on the promise of neutral sound, but I'm curious if that would be your opinion on them as you've had a lot more listening experience than I have. I've been curious if it would be worth the price of upgrade to transition to the Ollo Audio S4X or Avantone Planar? I use my M40X for everything from listening to music, watching CZcams videos, tracking music on the C64 and hooking up to my DAP's. My M40X is upgraded with Brainwavz earpads and I run it balanced into my Schiit Audio Magnius and Modius balanced, with Hart Audio Cables. If they are indeed neutral at the price range of $100 I think they'd give serious competition to the other $100 neutral headphones mentioned in this video.

The Sivga Robin intrigues me. I wonder if some of that sibilance can be tamed? I like my SV007, but not SV006 , due mostly to weight and a bit to much treble emphasis.

Could you provide some comments on the amp from FX audio that I saw in your video?
FX Audio makes an excellent entry-level amp/dac. It's plenty powerful for most headphones, has a neutral sound signature, and a small form factor. It's reliable, and sturdy. It's really hard to recommend an alternative for under $100, if you want an all-in-one solution. It doesn't have bells and whistles, but if you don't need DSD, MQA, and Bluetooth, then the Dac X6 is a great first product.

Are there any other us based manufacturers of budget tube amps (I know "budget" and "tube" don't exactly go together) aside from Decware? I don't mind buying stuff from other countries, I just want to try and avoid ChiFi if I can help it due to some of the BS with their government, but I know I can't completely get off of stuff from China, especially in this hobby (there are Emotiva, Gesheli Labs, and Schiit Audio however in regards to solid state gear)
Bellari has a tube hybrid; and of course there's Schiit.
Can you give me some thoughts on the Sabaj D5 I see in your video please.
It's a neutral amp/dac. It's got solid, heavy construction. It's got plenty of power for the vast majority of headphones. It's a very good product for $350. But, when you compare against the similarly-priced EX5, you'll notice the EX5 offers more in features. There's no difference in sound between the two. There's a nagging issue about the D5 re how to upgrade its firmware. You have to buy a separate special cable that plugs into the board to update firmware. It's another $15 expense, and the cable can only be found on AliExpress.
