- We've seen The CW's Barry Allen get faster and faster as he prepares to take on the seemingly invincible Savitar, but does anyone else remember how fast Barry's season 2 villain, Zoom, was? If not, let's figure out how fast he could really go!

Imagine terrorizing people at superspeed on Earth 2, while being Jay on Earth 1. He would literally have to be running back and forth hundreds, maybe thousands of times per millisecond, and would also have to have a breach constantly open. That's super f*cking fast. If he was able to run this fast, he could just run in STAR Labs, kill all Barry's friends, whisk Barry and Harry Wells to a cage in his Lair on Earth 2 before they even suspected anything about him. This, thankfully is not possible, because his top speed at the end of the season was around Mach 13.2 or greater, considering now he could run at his fastest, (faster that mach 8) because he was no longer going through cellular degeneration. Harry Wells also confirmed that Zoom was running around much faster than on Earth 2. However, even Mach 20 is not enough to pull off this speed mirage across two planets.

Remember the Trajectory episode when she evaporated because she was running to fast. That never happened to zoom because he wasn't running that fast so when he stole Barry's speed that stabilized zooms dying cells which made be able to go faster without evaporating
Trajectory evaporated because she was using too much velocity nine without a natural connection to the speed force. The same thing was happening to Zoom, just much slower because he had a natural speed force connection. Taking Barry’s speed made him faster as stated by Harry a few episodes later and it repaired his dying cells. Hope that cleared things up.

Well, we still don't know how Zoom managed to capture Jay. Jay is shown to be a nice guy and we've seen that Zoom was able to convincingly play a "good" guy. Perhaps he simply tricked Jay and was able to put the speed dampening mask on him. I mean, he tricked Barry for almost an entire season.

I think Jay has more experience, we were never told when Jay got his powers on his earth, but I think it was a long time before Zoom and Barry came.

His power in the show aren't actually his powers in the comics, which is why it's sort of confusing....
I'll explain it to you guys, Zoom doesn't actually possess super-speed, he just makes everything slower (time manipulation) and makes The Flash's speed near useless because of it.

RF is actually faster than Zoom.I didn't believe it either when I saw some theories about that, but keep in mind that Barry never outran RF in a race all he did to beat him is something tactical (like when Eddie killed himself, or when Barry took that shortcut to hit RF).Don't get me wrong I know Zoom is fast and he CAN do a speed mirage but he isn't faster than RF.

*UPDATE* if you've seen the newest episode of legends of tomorrow you can see that even the black flash zoom is vulnerable to RF ( official Reverse Flash vs Zoom ). He punched zoom and sent him flying meters across, which means that he is faster.

Anime Shadow I'm pretty sure that's only WITH the tachyon device. Without it, he would be slower. And besides, on the episode Barry used the tachyon device against Zoom, he was able to outrun Zoom. Zoom couldn't even react fast enough to Barry's speed (as seen on one of the clips.)
Actually mach 9-13.2 as he was clearly faster than Zoom's mach 8.2. To me it seems after stealing Barry's speed he became that fast(mach 9-13.2)

If I'm not mistaken than Teddy Sears is working with FOX on a show, however they could have used someone like his stunt double or some one with same looking body type and CGI the face (The face of Black Flash would still have to go trough a lot of cosmetics and CGI)

Wow, I'm seriously impressed! After clicking at this video and looking at your, subs I expected some poorly done research and just some numbers without any references. But you did the opposite, even correcting the mistake you made in the last flash video. Your research on this whole topic was pretty fucking amazing lol Showing clips and mentioning it in your script (you have one, right?). Many people wouldn't look for references and would only stay at their base first calculating but you adapted your calculastions relativistically to your references.

@Fazira Begum comic barry allen hit 16 sextillion times faster than the speed of light. Cw barry allen ran around the earth 3 times in a second which is around 23,000 miles per second which is I think around 8 to 800 million mph. Justice league movie flash is around a top of 2.3 million mph

When Zoom stole the Flashs SpeedForce it didn't give him speed. It cured him.
Drake Allen But what was making him sick was his cells dying. His cells were his connection to the speedforce in the CW, so stealing flashes speed cured his connection to the speed force, therefor making him faster than he was. Not adding to his speed for say, just re kindling his full speed force connection.

Minor correction; you don't need to run at bullet speed to catch bullets. I can catch a thrown baseball but I definitely can't outpace one on foot.

Zoom only won 1 fight..the first fight. Barry actually won every other fight. And after Barry's trip to the speedforce he became much faster than Zoom. Actually Barry's speed did add on to his..Harry confirmed it "Zoom is moving fast..faster than he did in my earth". I'm just stating the facts. Barry was slightly faster than Zoom when he used the tachyon enhancer and was much faster than him after he came out of the speedforce,he wiped the floor with him.Barry is the source of the speedforce. He is like their champion. That's why when Barry released Eobard from his cage in S3 e1 Eobard said "I wish I could kill you right now..but I can't". That's why when he came out of the speedforce he was so much faster than Zoom cause he is technically a battery for the speedforce and can be as fast as he wants to he just didn't know how to harness it. You've gotten so much information mixed up in there that it doesn't even make sense.
Zoom injecting himself with barry's speedforce would do more than just make him healthy, when barry first travels back in time to see thawne he is told that tachion enhancement will increase the speed force in his system and make him faster. Zoom is doing the same thing and adding more speedforce into his own system which would make him faster.

well it's not much depending on how many times you use it but it's 630mph i calculated from trajectory because asuming that trajectory used v9 my estimate is about 7 or 8 times which going with 8 and used v9 to make herself faster than Barry then 4 more times to make herself a little faster than zoom
This means that trajectory is at least mach 8.2 or mach 8.3
also add 1400 to 5040 to get trajectory's top speed after continuous Abuse from v9
and finally get her original speed by subtracting 5000 from 6440

When flash had gotten faster in ep 18 zoom said he gotten faster so there will be more speed for him to take. Implying he would get faster from Barry's speed too.
I like this calculation, but I have a question, why is it that zoom doesn't get faster by absorbing Barry's speed, but Barry gets slower when Wells takes his speed the first time?
In The Flash season 2 episode 18, Barry is shown to be faster than Zoom, moving at around Mach 13 using a tachyon device, which was also used to enhance Professor Zoom/Reverse-flash's speed in season 1 and probably in Legends of Tomorrow as well so Professor Zoom must move at around Mach 13 as well.

If you want the know how much of a boost velocity 8 gives you then look at trajectory
You might have to do this video over again since in s5e8 flash and xs are running like hell to get away from him and he catches up to them even laying a hand on flash I watch it over in slowmo and you can see berry is really pushing it and xs is too focus on keeping up to try to help with that shown I think zoom is a monster and much faster than we all thought

Yeah, speed force being injected into Zoom just cured his cells so he could be healthy again, and before then Zoom was already going to other earths taking speed force away from other speedsters so he could survive with blue lightning and break the rules of the speed force. Eliza died when her lightning turned blue because she never had any connection to the speed force and her entire way of getting fast was using velocity 9 the whole time. Eliza never had any speed force powers prior to injecting velocity 9 into her.

In your video with reverse flash you said he got up to 13.2, but here you have Zoom much slower than that. On the show they said that Zoom, and Reverse Flash were running at virtually identical speeds.

in 3x21 whe see in the beginning that Savitar and Barry makes lightning bolts to each other it was like they got equal lightning (bad english sorry), but we saw Savitar start before Barry and Savitar is also faster than Barry, right?
