New Deer Watering Hole-Adding Bentonite, Will it work???

I just dug this new watering hole a couple of weeks ago with the Bobcat Excavator. The first time we got rain it did not hold any water. So I decided to try to Add Calcium Bentonite, the stuff they sell at the Farm Co-ops and Country stores. Watch as I rake it in, pick rocks and finish it. Then we get some heavy rain and see if it works!!!
