You sound very sincere and legitimate to me and I believe you because I have witnessed Dan throwing his fellow party members under the bus accusing them seeking personal benefit when the house was voting on a new Speaker. He wasted no time calling Matt Gaetz names and others when all they wanted to do was hold the new Speaker accountable for real change and negotiate for Americans. I don’t trust Dan and do not think he is a team player or conservative. I would expect leadership and integrity having been a Navy Seal.

Also, I read Crenshaw’s petition that Gallagher posted. Eddie characterized it as a petition to keep him in prison, and it was nothing of the sort. Crenshaw did not sign the letter requesting that Gallagher be released from pretrial
confinement, but he did pen, sign, and distribute a petition to have the SecNav review the conditions under which you were being held. He specifically pointed out that the conditions were unfair, possibly unconstitutional and not keeping with the letter and spirit of UCMJ.
That may not be as much help as Gallagher was looking for, but to call it a petition to keep him in prison is also well…. a lie. 🤷♂️

Even apart from your case, Crenshaw has a bad rep in the SEAL community. I'm glad you prevailed. As a retired Navy Master Chief, I don't like it when individuals want to air the dirty laundry in public. I was a Marine and served in Vietnam during the TET Offensive as a grunt (0311) so I do relate. There have been times when I felt betrayed and I always handle inside of our community regardless. Sometimes we agree to disagree which is not easy to do for many of us hardheads. I have worked closely with many Navy Seals who have always impressed me with their professionalism so this infighting surprises me. I certainly do not know all the ins and outs of the charges against Eddie but if you don't want war crimes than don't start or go to a war. Fortunately, we never saw any reporters where we were because it was too dangerous and no way to get their stories out. Whoever the genius was that thought imbedding reporters with combat units should be punished. We are all guilty of not following exactly the letter of the law and rules of war is another stupid idea from people who have never served in combat. Bottom line is that there had to be a better way to handle this issue. IMHO.
Dan was born in Scotland, graduated from a private school in Bogota Colombia. Then he went to Taft and Harvard Universities in Massachusetts for his Bachelors and Masters. He lived in Katy Texas for a bit as a child. He IS NOT a small town Texas conservative or even truly a "Texan". He's a big city, New England, government insider, who grew up in the ranks of the privileged elites. Like McCain, he wraps himself in his military service as a smoke screen to disguise what he truly is... a New England Ivy league elitist.
