  • Wondering how long the WideWheel battery will last? You cannot really trust most of the statements from the manufacturers and dealers so here is the truth about the real range...
    We tested the dual motor WideWheel with 13.2Ah battery. It's a powerful scooter with a front and rear 500W (800W peak) motor and 25 mph top speed. We kept the thumb down on the throttle as much as possible (more than 80% of the ride). 185lb rider on a windy day...
    Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.
    Head over to fluidfreeride.com to order your own WideWheel.

I did the same commute the other day in rush hour on the Wide Wheel and it took just over 15 mins on a cycle route much better for the soul....! big shout out to Peter # Fluid Free Rides customer service as it should be.... btw Peter I use a "Bell Local Helmet"

    - camera doesn't really edit out the selfie stick, selfie stick is in the blind spot. The camera and software only stitch the blind spot together which makes the selfie stick invisible.

      Jonathan Adami Oh yeah man if that scooter Is working out for you then you would love the horizon. Has a 10 mile longer range than the wide wheel. max speed of 23 to 25 mph. It’s basically a cruiser that has a really good range comparable to a lot of other higher end scooters. It’s also made by the same company that makes the wide wheel. But if you want a bit more power to get up to higher speeds then I’ve heard good things about the Zero 8x. Although I cannot attest to their quality But either way man these things are a blast. It’s insane how Far these scooters can go and how much fun they are.

    • @caponwow
      @caponwow Před 4 lety

      x Stringthumper x After having ridden mine since late July... 54.6 is a full charge, i recharge on average at about 46-50V depending on the trip but I've run her dry a couple times and i was still moving with reasonable acceleration all the way down to 42V so if you have to get home on a low charge. the scooter won't draw less than 38.9 ish colts and once that's less than enough power to satisfy the motors the scooter will stop and not draw any further power. These battery packs are rated to go as low as 35V before any major damage is done so even if you absolutely have to run it dry it's not the end of the world. My recommendation is to leave it plugged in every night and then if you know you are going a good distance bring the charger and plug it in whenever you make a stop to help give you some extra distance

    • @caponwow
      @caponwow Před 4 lety

      Also, if you want to go the farthest possible, leave the kick start on, leave it in the 15 mph "eco" mode and unplug the front motor if you have the dual motor. I have maxed my scooter out at 43 miles on a single charge (broken up across various trips but still logged) is that the farthest? i'm not sure as i could have coasted more than i was bothering to and i could have been lighter on the throttle. also could have avoided slow speed running as it's not that efficient. i think you can squeeze another 5 miles if you really needed to go the distance

    Hey i just checked to see how much it costs to send to New Zealand. Shipping is $200 is that normal because it sounds excessive, this also doesnt include customs fees etc? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Wear an effing helmet! I won't watch any more of your reviews until you do. Not wearing a helmet is simply encourages recklessness and danger.
