Do you think Alex made the correct choice for his trip from SF to LA? Which scooter would you choose?
The Mantis would've been better
Wolf 🤴 👑 king.. with a few mods nothing big
Idk what do you think
I can barely make it to San Jose from Redwood city and back without my d6+ running out of juice. Wish i could upgrade the battery capacity on it cause awesome scooter.
How far is that in miles SF to La then that’s when I can choose the scooter I would use
This is one of my favorite youtube series. Keep it up!
I second that 👍 more of this style.
Yay. you brought it back!
Really nice seeing Chuck again
I would like to see this guy ride across America with a kick scooter!! 😂
Do you mean, full manual? No batteries? Because he did it on electric scooters already. :-) -Paul
I liked the KAABO Wolf King the best because it looks solid and with the shocks it looks like it would be the most comfortable of the 3
When I’m tight places or among people or bikers and need a smooth take off I found that on the king and the vsett 10 all you have to do is push the button for single motor
Love my Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 but now I wish I held out for the Wolf King GT!
Great video chuck
Throttle response and throttle curve are the biggest things the Wolf Warrior's need to address. Once you get the right amount of "expo" dialed in it's much improved but it could be even better. I really wish there was firmware control for the throttle like I have in Betaflight for my drones to REALLY dial in throttle response...but hands down my Wolf Warrior 11 is the most fun off-road I've had in a long time.
Totally agree about the throttle. Now that we have this much power, we really need better control over it. -Paul
For that throttle punch, just switch between ECO and Turbo modes on the King. 😄
Awesome scooters 👍👍👍😎
Love my Dualtron Eagle Pro but come on, Chuck, "dual disk brakes" ? You fail to mention they're only bottom-end mechanical brakes. I'm installing fully-hyraulic Xtech brakes and I can't wait. Other than replacing the mechanical brakes and replacing the single clamp stem clamp with a double-clamp stem clamp (and maybe tubeless tires but I rode 6 months with the original inner tubes with no flats), I think the Eagle Pro is a champ ! Great build quality. Excellent handling. Quality parts. Speed controller (EYE) is so good. Not too heavy (66 lbs). I also caulked under the deck and any exposed holes leading to the battery and controller area.
I need advice on snow and ice riding, do they have mini chains for that yet? Or spoked tires? I'm looking to take an apollo across orgeon and down to California during the winter.
Wolf warrior 11+ and the wolf king rocks 💯🤙
With the new Segway GT and the updated versions of the scooters here, we need another one of this series
We will try our best! Thank You.
3:14 My boy said "Umm" so much while complimenting it, I knew he had complaints about it 😂
The work you do to stay nice with people.
haha lol
I've had my wolf king for three days. Love the stability, the wheels stay rock solid on the pavement, 30mph feels super solid and safe, haven't taken it faster yet. Gravel is dicey, and when my palms were sweaty, nearly lost my grip twice. But it's so stable, there is a brief but adequate window of time to regain control. Potholes are dangerous, especially deeper ones.
The ABS braking system takes a while to get used to, the constant grip and release, but it works well, can stop very quickly from sub 25mph speeds. Faster speeds, I like to plan ahead and lose some velocity first before I need to stop.
Powerful and fast sums it up. Protection gear required to ride this, especially on rough terrain wher you might get thrown off, or city driving where cars pop out of blind spots suddenly. And take the time to become familiar with the parts, locktight any that might loosen up.
And ALWAYS look before you merge into traffic.
Question, do you have a damper on your Wolf King to assist your handling?
I mean, do you need one?
@@Sicilian49 They come installed stock.
@@theskeptik1 Thanks for the info.
Range?
good reviews many thanks, price guide would be helpful if possible
I wish you had talked more about the Phantom Ludo's dedicated Regen braking system
It's pretty cool. Variable response regen is awesome. The thing I like best about it is that it slows the rear down really well without locking. It's one of the reasons the Ludo has the 4th best braking distance of any scooter we've tested. Chuck says he likes it so much, he uses it as the primary brake. It's basically another throttle lever over on the left side, that gives really strong regen braking when you use all of it. -Paul
Order my wolf king today because of this video, great info. Just Subs
Would probably help to have a seat... 🤔 At least I'd like one on a trip that long. Dual charger/ fast charging would be a good feature to take into consideration. I've been thinking about long range E-riding myself lately. I'm just ready to get out & do something different. Wanna go up & down the Appalachians. Staying & charging at campgrounds along my way.
Great series, love it. Thanks a bunch guys.
Thanks for the kind words & for watching!
amazing
I ride all 3 positions to adjust being comfy . @ 5:00 Mins that regular and goofy position the front leg has to be bent more forward and your body has to lean forward more at higher speeds. 😍
Insightful! Thanks for sharing. -Vosk
Awsome 👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
Thanks so much! -Vosk
This explains why we haven't seen chuck in the last few scooter reviews haha
It was quite obvious. He was looking at the Wolf King like it was love at first sight. 😅😅😅
I hope he didn't buy the Wolf King yet, cause the Wolf King GT is coming out.
Wow 🤩 how much and how fast and how about the range
Yeah, but if he's doing his trip soon, he'd have to go with the original King as the GT is coming out for sale around October-November. Im contemplating myself whether to wait a few months for the GT or go with the King as I could use it right now for commute.
I’m new to the scooter market and the amount of innovations is insane!
@@davidmichael3189 that's 1k off I found it on Alibabs US for 3500 the same price I can get it locally
He'll probably buy both. He already had 4 WWs.
Looking at the Dualtron Achilleus for the range, sleek + macho look for a big guy like myself ( 97kg @ 5'11) but the cheaper price of a wolf king non gt version is tempting as well.
That’s definitely a interesting scooter , we like the specs but haven’t tested yet
Wow
Where was the Nami Burn-E in this mix??? I reckon he would’ve loved it.
Fr should replaced the low range dualtron with it
How does the street Tire performances on offroad? Which tire is better for wet surface?
Pretty well! Riding on wet services are almost always more dangerous so be careful
Really enjoying the VSETT10+R very impressive scooter! I'm actually trading my OneWheel GT for it.
I rode with a buddy that has a different scoot with a bigger 60v battery (28ah vs 35ah), rode the same route and I ended with MUCH more battery left he had "about 20% left" and I had 70%! He just couldn't believe it 😂😂😂 I rode in lowest gear mostly with one motor but at the end of the route I gunned it for a few miles going 35-45mph.
Enjoy your scooter & stay safe
The wolf king is is pretty good, but how does it beat the burn- E? Very confused
I'd ride the BURN-E myself, if I were doing that run. -Paul
Wolf 🐺 king 👑 looks like the best scooter outta the rest What’s the range test on that scooter how long can you ride before dying
Wolf King will go 33.4 real world (tested) miles. -Paul
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide that’s the range on it that’s all for that price of that scooter how do the 72v battery 🔋 hold 🆙

Personally I think the currus panther is by far the best scooter in the world
Cool stuff! Good information!!
I’m new to the channel; looked through and didn’t see anything right off: but can you recommend a stable, reliable, sit-on scooter? I’m disabled and looking for something I can cruise to the store and around trails and such. I can walk a little, but not able to stand and ride. Bikes don’t really work either because of having to swing a leg over and the seating position. I have a couple power chairs, but the range isn’t great and they simply cannot navigate sidewalks and curbs and crosswalks. A fat tire like the Wolf King could be good with a seat. I don’t need or want speed: ten mph is plenty. 👍🙏
You can add a seat to many bigger/heavier scooters! Have you looked at the Emove Roadrunner? It’s on the small side but does have a seat and is light. -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide coolness, thank you!! I’ll check it out!
Anyone know of possible specs on the upcoming wolf king GT?
How is it legal do do this trip? My understanding is a scooter cannot be ridden on a Ca. road that has a speed limit over 25 mph. Furthermore the maximum speed limit is 15 mph?
Why wasn’t the Nami Burn-e included in the mix?
Good question. I can't remember how we came up with the ones we did. The BURN-E still holds our range record at 53.3 miles. -Paul
Thank you this is vau 🇩🇰 DK. hi 16,Aug.
Can you review the outstorm pro maxx
We will take a look! Thank You.
I have a 800watss electric scooter I need advice on the kinda battery I should get. Thank u
How many volts ?
Nami burn e should be in the options..
VESETT 10+ very study and nimble and super fast I think it's faster than wolf king it's a total BEAST!!!
Whats its range?
The Vsett 10+ is quicker than the base wolf, but the Wolf King is over all faster than the Vsett 10+ by quite a bit. -Paul
Might of we'll get a rion or wepedss
Where’s Vsett 10+? :D
Just managed to pick up an x-display wolf king with zero miles on it for only £2299. Arriving tomorrow. So so stoked

how/where do you charge on your trips as you will go through 30 miles in a few hours
He takes several scooters at once and then charges them all at night!
I love all three but the King is really pricey. I mean pushing 3K for a scooter. I can buy a mini-fleet of Ninebot Max scooters for that and be happy. Going 50mph on a scooter does not sound to me to be conducive to having a long life expectancy
I don't get why y'all didn't suggest the Dualtron X2. That would've been the perfect scooter for this type of trip
Also those other two are like $1,000 more than the deltron eagle pro
Review the rion re90
We are trying to get a RION to test!
video starts at 15:15
Maybe u guys can help me out I need to commute 9 miles each way in NYC but I also need to fit it on a train to get back home. Now NYC rods are garbage and drivers are even worse. Any suggestion for a scooter that could survive… by the way I’m 6’3” 260LBS
Have you looked at the kaabo mantis GT?
Is wolf king available on emi ?
Sorry, I'm not sure what emi is. In the US it's sold by Voro Motors -Paul
He should try the Outstorm Maxx pro
Noted! Thanks for watching. -Vosk
Why not use something like a Nami Burn E Max? It has a range of 100 miles and can go 60mph?
Good suggestion! Thank You
Would love to do this but here in the uk you get points on your license and a fine if you’re caught in public on one and the scooter gets confiscated.
Sure hope this gets sorted out. We're lucky that for all practical purposes, no one pays attention to what we're riding here in California. Getting ready to go to a 50mph speed run in a moment (wearing full motorycle gear) :-) -Paul
“confiscated” is just a deceptive way to say STOLEN.
Has anyone tested the Dualtron storm limited the range that it says it has is stupid if it’s really true.
We have not tested it yet! -Vosk
Wow nice the wolf king is the best
It sure is! Great scooter.
Thirty three miles is simply not enough range. How long does it take to charge that machine? If it take 5 hours I can't imagine traveling across country on this machine.
He had several scooters that were all charged overnight! Thanks for watching
Shout out to mini motors NYC 😉
🔥
apollo phantom top speed is 48.1mhp ?
The 60V Ludicrous version goes 48.1 mph, it's not out yet. The standard version 52V Phantom goes 39.1 mph. -Paul
Has any one owned or riden a x4 5600w 60v 30ah its a little under $2000 and top speed supposed to be least 55mph. Am looking to buy one but want some more info
Do you know how many miles he got on the king.
Unfortunately we do not!
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Thanks for writing back though...
Would be fantastic if I could attach a sidecar to the seat of the scooter so I can get mum to the shops and back. these things go like a rocket.
From everything I've researched The Dualtrons are renowned for having bad stem wobble.
I don't think he liked that it didn't have a foot rest either.
He was always going the wolf! pretty average video should've been better models to compare with.
I don't understand how this is supposed to work. He chose the Wolf King. At close to 60 mph and a 30 mile range, that's 30 minutes per ride before recharging. He said he rides about 8 hours a day. I don't see how that's possible if charging takes 2 or 3 hours (assuming). 8 hours/30 minutes per charge = 16 charge stops x 2 hours (given the best time) = 32 hours of charge time + 4 hours travel time = 36 hours/day of time. That doesn't include sleep time. So how does that work?
He would be rotating scooters! -Vosk
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Ah, that makes sense. I got the impression he was doing it alone. He'd have to have a team following him to do that. Got it! Doesn't detract from the feat, I just was confused about how it was done.
I had the nanrobot d6+ I went 64 mph
On the gps ? Or on the throttle ? -Vosk

I bought the wolf kinga hear ago and at the time I already had a laotie land breaker 60v-5600watt 21700 battery's and when I got the wolf king I set it up and charged it up all the way and it broke down wouldn't go and wouldn't charge up so I sent it back at a cost of $160 the said they fixed it and sent it back to me( by then I had bought another laotie the laotie es19 2 × 3,000 watt motors 60v ) anyway it was fully charged up and so I took it out for a ride and I did get to ride it about 4 miles before it broke down again and again had to push it home but let me tell u this in my experience and my opinion they named it wrong they should have named it the wolf pup cus the laotie dance's around it and would rip it guts out !!! So I sent the wolf pup back I did get a full refund minus the shipping cost to send it back but I would like to find a faster scooter and more powerful scooter than the laotie es19 Andi would like to get the weepe sst the one that does 0 to80 in 12 seconds but my wife will not not do I have 7,000 dollar's to spend on a scooter so I'm at a loss on what to do I have over a 1,200 on both my Laoties I wish I could find a scooter that can keep up with traffic and make me shout were without costing me 7,000 dollars or so I've road motorcycle all my life( I'm now 57 ) and when I road my scooter for the first time I was hooked I have learned a new ridding skill and I love to ride my scooters I just wish they were faster 80 to100 miles an hours and would make me scared to ride it I know I don't have many years left to live but the time I do have I want to live them to the fullest if you know what I'm saying I doubt they even make a scooter I couldn't top out no matter what that top speed is I don't know of any thing I have owned that I haven't reached its top speed in my opinion even light speed is slow in the sceam of things but here and now we'll???👍 Damnit make me a scooter that will make me go see or I somehow will
